Brick Oven Rotary Grater, Red

Decent product for the price . Had to contact them to find out how to disassemble for cleaning. No phone number on the package so I had to research that online. A simple illustration on the package would've been helpful. It took a tremendous amount of force to remove the handle so that was not intuitive as I thought I was breaking the product. It shredded cheddar cheese adequately. It would be nice to have a second barrel with a different size grater.

This is a great concept, but metal portion does not remove. At first I thought this wouldn't be a problem, but then cheese started building up between the metal cylinder and the plastic. I even purchased a cheap toothbrush to clean it. This did not work. After a few weeks of use, the handle broke. After taking this product apart, I found old cheese gunked on the inside. I would not recommend this to anyone!

This does a very good job at grating cheese. I grate Parmesan, Romano with no problems. Dishwasher safe! No more bloody knuckles! Ferrari Red color! Buon Appetito!

Great Price, but not as durable as steel units. Not as easy to turn as long handled units.

I hated this product because of cleaning until I figured out how to disassemble. It is really easy - take a paper towel or cloth towel and hold the inside grate (towel is to protect fingers) and twist. Came right open. Now I like it!

nice, single function product. The grating size is not very effective except for hard cheeses, but that's what I bought it for and it does quite well. It's dishwasher safe and therefore easy to clean once disassembled. However, it is quite difficult to disassemble--it requires considerable force to unscrew the handle from the blade and there's no simple way to hold the blade safely while doing so. I tried a number of different methods because there were no disassembly instructions. I hope to find a way to arrange it in the dishwasher such that I won't need to disassemble it in the future.
