The product arrived on time packed in a plastic bag. I did place the opened bag into a zip lock bag because it was not resealable.I use the gel with my camera equipment. It helps dry out the camera and lenses especially if it has been raining out. I will also toss some in with my life preservers when I pack them away for the winter.

I bought these to dry out some old family pictures that were found in a damp condition. It has worked great.

The Silica Gel Bags came vacuum packed. A good thing to prevent early deterioration of their moisture absorption capabilities. As to their effectiveness, it can only be ascertained after enough time has passed to determine how effective they have been in preventing corrosion/damage of the protected items. For this reason I cannot give at this time more than a three star rating.

These are great and I pack them around all my humidity-sensitive microphones, whenever I place them back in their cases. Also keep them with my hearing aids at night. Keeps them safe and dry too.
