I love this thing so much I am practically a spokesperson for it with my clients.
1) The value is great. I hope this never changes because it is one of its biggest selling points. 2) The size of the lamp light cast is good and covers a large portion of your back, your whole face or other large areas if you want it focused instead of everywhere at once like those enormous lamp walls. For what I need, it is perfect. 3) The clip and extra long cord with on/off switch in it is great. I only wish the on/off switch was closer to the lamp instead of further away. Its a minor inconvenience that just requires a bit of pre-planning if you don't have someone nearby that can turn it on/off for you. 4) Its relatively light weight considering the size of the lamp. I am able to comfortably carry it in my equipment bag to house call appointments (I am a massage therapist) and I am able to clip it where I need it at home for use. If you are struggling with places to clip it to, you can buy a good, lightweight, small, very inexpensive Amazon brand tripod to use it with (I think I paid $35 for mine) Note that the cheap tripod is a problem with actual camera photos and cell phone videos (because you get what you pay for) but for using with this lamp, it turned out to be perfect in a pinch and it redeemed what was looking like a bad tripod purchase 5) It really works. If you are anything like me, someone warning me that the infrared lights are there are working but you won't see them light up (and that means that you will have no idea if they are on and working) is NOT something that inspires confidence in you. Whomever their manufacturer is for the lamp is a good one and that matters because we are ALL tired of being lied to by strangers. Here are my stories. (a) I am a massage therapist and this last week has been busy. I have been putting in 5-7 hour days (that is 5-7 hours of non-stop manual labor with only 20-30 minute breaks between bodies for cleaning up room and taking care of personal needs) and my body has been telling me about it with aching thumb joint and a back that has been one giant, stiff, ache from doing real work on bodies on a massage table non-stop. (I don't know who you folks are that give light and fluffy as pancakes back rubs and calling it a massage but if you are successfully busy doing that, sign me up for your job! LOL) Needless to say, I have been earning my money and a few other folks money too! Behold, the red light. I put it on my thumb for 20 minutes and the inflammation and pain in the joint was gone (thank god!). I shined it on my back (after I finally realized I could do that instead of suffer. Doh!) Again, 20 minutes and my back was significantly better. It isn't 100% because I really do need someone to put their hands on there and knead some of this strain pattern out but I would estimate that the "ache reduction" in my back was a good 70-80% from just the light. That's impressive. (b) I have a client who has arthritis in many parts of his body and his one hip is more tight and immovable than an old creaky door. I tried using the light on his hip for 20 minutes while I worked on the rest of him. After the light treatment, we had a 30% increase in his range of motion in that hip. For him and his high mileage body, that was VERY impressive. 6) It is small enough that you can unplug it and stick it in a drawer out of the way. There is no need to find a "home" for it in the room somewhere because it is portable, lightweight and small with a big enough lamp to cover most large muscle areas. I use this as part of my treatments for specific clients that would benefit from it and I recommend red light therapy and this particular product every time. If this company would make me a commission sales person, I would be delighted to get paid to promote them since I am already doing it for free. Solid product. Recommended by a massage therapist who recommends it to her clients for their self care between visits with me. I hope they stick with the current manufacturer making the light. They are doing well. And did I forget to mention I am open to commissions for future sales? Contact me! :-)

It lives up to its claims for Pain Relief!!!
I bought my lamp Dec 2024 because I live at a latitude where I dont get as much sunlight in the winter so this is my substitute during that season. And, it makes a HUGE difference. The reason I decided to write this review today is because I experienced a significant pain relief from a shoulder impingment & rotator cuff injury. My pain level was a 9 for several days and after watching a YT video on treatment I was inspired to NOT buy the $500 infrared light he was selling & try my $33 light placing it on 3 different parts of my shoulder for ~30mins and my pain went down to a 2! I did that before bed and was surprised to wake up still at a 2! I did it again in the morning and I am pleased to still be at a 2. I am able to use my arm, where as the weight if it caused me pain for the last several days. I am SO pleased with how well this product worked! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Don't know if the bulb works because base (and glasses) broke
I don't know if the bulb works for the intended uses (pain relief, healing, etc.) because I haven't been able to use it. Upon unboxing it, the cheap plastic glasses that were in the box were already broken. No huge deal, I have sunglasses and sleep masks I can surely use. I put the bulb in the base after unboxing it and made sure it turned on. It did, but I also noticed the base and clip were SUPER cheap. The screws on the side of the base help the socket slide forward and back, so I slid it all the way back to make it more stable while holding the bulb. The bulb is otherwise too heavy for the socket and it was moving all around. The first time I got it out to use it, I realized how cheap the clamp was too. The bulb was too heavy to allow it to stay clamped to what I needed it on to put it where I needed it. After a bit of engineering a laundry stand to hold it where I needed it over my bed, I turned it on and it shot sparks and the bulb flickered. I was able to plug the bulb into a regular table lamp to verify it was not the bulb that shot sparks, but the lamp base. I'm glad the sparks didn't catch any bedding on fire! So now I'm trying to find a new lamp base to use the bulb. I recommend skipping their cheap base and finding your own from the start so you're not disappointed when trying to use it like many of the reviewers.

Great light but stopped working after 3 months of intermittent use
I have been enjoying the benefits of this red light and love the convenience of the stand! It gives me versatility when placing it and allows me to relax a bit while using it. Unfortunately, while using the red light, it seems to have burnt out and will not turn back on. This is unfortunate for a product that is only 3 months old and used 3 times per week for 10 minutes at a time. I’m out of my return window so unable to return and replace it. ETA: the company was quick to respond and after some troubleshooting to determine whether it was the bulb or the stand, they sent out a replacement bulb. I’m very happy to have my red light back in my routine, and very pleased with how the seller resolved this issue!

Light works, But didn't get the benefits I usually get from red light. not powerful enough
1. You can not see near infrared light. none in existence (that I'm aware of) where you will be able to tell if it is on or not. unless you point your camera on it, you know how people tell you check for hidden cameras. it will show up on your phones camera, this is how you know it's on/working. No one is "lying" to you about it. 2. The light you see on this lightbulb, is because it's in a wavelength the human eye can see. The light you can see is there to show you "it's on". it does offer benefits (ideal distance is 12 inches from treatment area but can be up to 36 inches away) 3. NIR - near infrared light (again the naked eye cannot see NIR) works best when close, you want it 6 -12 inches away for treatment. I usually get it as close as possible, sometimes having the red light sit directly on my skin. 4. all red light therapy should be done on bare clean skin. As far as I'm concerned it is the NIR light that is the most beneficial, it penetrates deeper. With all that. I've been using this lightbulb for months now, and I'm ready to find something better, one that works. It hasn't helped with much. I have horrible knee pain and I still do. This bulb didn't even remotely help with the pain. I would keep this bulb roughly 2 inches from treatment area and leave it on for 30 minutes. No discernable improvement. (I know red light therapy works as this bulb was a replacement for my previous one that burnt out, they don't have them anymore, and thought an LED version would be nice). I also tried it just on my face, what red light therapy usually does, Helps even out my reddish color, my face is constantly flushed looking, and red light really improves this, not sure of the mechanics of why, I just know it does, because it has before. It also slowly helps rebuild collagen, kind of like forcing your skin into "healing mode", this in turn helps decrease wrinkle depth, for fine wrinkles can completely get rid of them. Again. this light did nothing beneficial, didn't even keep me warm and I do enjoy the warmth from red light therapy. Perhaps this not working is because it has so few LEDs, only 18 total, 9 of the 660nm visible red light and 9 of the NIR. 5. Quality. this bulb feels cheap. It's mostly plastic, and is super light, this can be a plus depending on how you look at it, But for me it just increased it's cheap quality feeling. I don't have much faith in this bulb. It did "turn on" and I can see light being emitted, but Because I can't turn off the visible light, I have no real idea if the NIR light is working (the spots that seems like no light is coming from should be the NIR lights) I point my phones camera at it, and I think I can tell, but it's honestly hard to see when you have bright red light shining. Maybe they work maybe they don't point 6. Too few LEDs, not enough power output. The lightbulb is just too weak to have any good benefits. perhaps sitting under it for an hour or 2 would show some results, But I don't have that kind of time. I like putting my red light as close to the problem areas are possible. My rating is because overall this is a mediocre product. It didn't benefit me at all though. Even one thing would have been nice. A suggestion (that I'm taking myself) if you want an LED red light therapy bulb/lamp, get one with as many LEDs as you can afford, and invest in one where you can turn on and off each "wavelength" of light seperately (something where you can just have NIR on if you want, or just the more visible red light or both)

No se siente nada de calor
De acuerdo a la descripción y las reviews de este artículo este producto produce calor penetrante en la piel, pero no genera nada, ni lo más mínimo de calor, que es lo principal y más importante del tratamiento con la tecnología de infrarojo
