Bulldog Security Alarm with 2 Wire Hook Up

This is super easy to install. Just read the directions, then it takes about 10 minutes max. You just have to look at your engine and figure out where the best spot is on your car (where it will attach securely and where the wires will reach the battery). I have forgotten it was on a couple of times and tried to open my car doors remotely as I was getting ready to go somewhere and the alarm goes off right away. And yesterday I forgot again and set my coffee cup on top of the car as I was going to get in and it went off again, so I am satisfied with it's sensitivity. If I had known there was such a simple solution to protecting my auto I would have gotten this a long time ago. Very happy customer.

Woke up to find this alarm had completely drained my battery. Apparently this alarm goes off at the slightest vibration & keeps going until it's sucks the life out of the car's battery. Pretty useless item anyways, not even loud enough to hear when indoors, so what's the point?! Thanks for the additional headache & time waste of having to call for a jump start.

I had mine installed yesterday at an auto motive shop, cuz I had a Toyota Hybrid Prius,( & didn't know how to get to the battery), but super easy to install maybe 5 mins☺ After it was installed, I had a couple of issues with setting sensitivity, to arm itself, if touched, but after driving it this morning, it finally did arm itself, and seems to be working fine now, when I touched the car, it did chirp. I feel much better, because I have a neighbor, that has vandalized 2 other cars, in the past. I just got my first new car, & in less than a week, it was vandalized, so having an alarm, is a MUST! This is my 1st day, I will update review, at a later time ☺so far, so good! Quick, & easy!

I like the price, ease of installation and the alarm works but could be louder.

Easy install, works well, not loud enough to wake up the neighborhood, but will get the attention of the BAD GUY trying to rip off your stuff.l

Very puny doorbell sound. Not a siren as described in the instructions. Was prone to frequent false alarms. Not worth using. I sent it back, Email to manufacturer was unanswered after six days. Installation was indeed easy as described, but results useless.

Great product for a great price. You can't protect your car from everything, but this will help a bit I would recommend it.

It is as simple to put in car as it says; a 10 yr old could do it. And it will fit in the most cramped engine compartment! It even works! But that’s about it on the plus side because it has 3 HUGE negatives. 1st is that I sent the cheaper Bulldog car security back for refund after it was too big to fit under my car’s hood & mechanic wanted $90 to MAKE it fit, so I lost half my money on the on-time return thru no fault of my own; so Bulldog doesn’t give you what you pd back on refunds. 2nd: it’s so quiet it doesn’t even raise an eyebrow if you set it off in a crowd! 3rd: it doesn’t even SOUND like most alarms sound like; no siren type of sound, & that’s a lot of the problem. If it sounded like a siren, it might get someone’s attn in a parking lot even tho it’s not loud by any stretcch of anyone’s imagination! As it is, I doubt I will ever be able to hear it even tho it’s parked right outside my bedroom window & I have excellent hearing. But my dog will & she’ll tell me. Wouldn’t scare anyone off, that’s for sure. The best thing about it is any thief I ever knew would die laughing when it goes off! Good thing too, since no one else is going to hear it. If it was louder, sounded like a siren sounds, or could send a wifi signal to your phone to alert you to make up for the quiet alarm, then it would get 5 stars.
