The innards of the old unit were worn and not regulating the pressure. I simply swapped out the innards and problem fixed. Much easier than replacing the entire unit.

It was a direct drop-in replacement, and I swapped it with the original valve without any issues. So far, everything is working well and I’m happy with the product. The original valve from the same manufacturer lasted 10 years after we bought the house. Just make sure to check the valve occasionally, since most leaks start as a slow drip.

Replaced old PRV with this and now we have much better water flow. Pressure was great, but GPMs were the issue on our 23 year old PRV.

Working well, holding 60 PSI downstream. Instructions are written as if they're selling to a professional plumber, which I suppose is probably the case most of the time with these. I'm very handy and had no issue installing it, but I would have appreciated a little guidance on how much the PEX barb fittings that screw onto it (included) should be tightened against the included O-rings. I went with "very snug", and nothing seemed to strip/break, and no leaks. I was hoping the instructions would say something like "X turns after the O-ring contacts the valve housing" where X = somewhere between 3/4 and 2, but no such guidance is given. Hoping I didn't overtighten it and risk premature failure of the O-rings. Oh, and for the non-plumbers out there looking to install this - get some food-grade silicone grease for the o-rings (NOT silicone sealant!!).

Hopefully this lasts longer than the Apollo brand that failed after 3 years. It seems to be about he same quality but this one has a replaceable cartridge. Working perfectly.

I bought this because our other pressure regulator failed. This was so easy to replace rather than purchasing a repair kit for our old regulator. Took no more than 30 minutes to install and adjust pressure.

This valve Worked straight out of the box and solved our waterhammer problems immediately. We kept experiencing rattling pipes. We installed an air vent valve and waterhammer arrestor, but this did not solve the issue. The problem was intermittent so it was difficult to figure out the cause. My husband started troubleshooting and by a process of elimination, he eventually realized that the problem only occurred when the water tank that we have installed at height for use as a gravity feed for a system, was almost full. He realized that the high pressure of the water supply was causing the float valve to flutter when it was almost at maximum fill level, causing the back pressure, reverse flow and water hammer. On installation of this pressure reducing valve, it worked instantaneously with no adjustment necessary at all.

Ordered this one with pex connectors that I did not use because it was a great price. It replaced a 20 year old NR3 model that looks and fit exactly the same. Very pleased.

Far cheaper than the local hardware store and easy to install

We have variations in the water pressure and the old valve was not working anymore. Installed this one and all worries gone.

These item was sent to replace a defective unit, as soon opened the box I noticed this unit was new. I'm glad Amazon replaced it.
