Have not really checked out the heater but it does appear to offer good warmth. I don’t need to warm a room with it. Just want a little warmth this winter if I sit next to it. I purchased for the fireplace look. I don’t think any electric heater at this price point is going to fool anyone into thinking this one is a gas or wood burning fireplace. However, after testing out several settings I did find one that suits me and gives a nice effect. The unit was easy to install and did not have any defects. I am not using the fake wood so I just stored them on the top of the unit where they are hidden by the front glass panel. I put the legs there too since I put the heater/fireplace on the wall.
