Great square book for pens
Some of the reviews say the paper is thin, maybe the paper has changed since those reviews, in 2022 I bought one and I draw in it with broad Japanese fude brush ink pens, they lay down a lot of ink very quickly and the paper does not feather the ink or bleed through to the next page at all. I’ll be buying another one of these as soon as I get close to the end of this one, it’s the perfect size for me personally and the paper is very good for the inks I like.

Cute and could be used with watercolor painting
Soooooo cute. That would be perfect for watercolors also. I don’t believe any of the watercolors would go through the paper that’s used in these books

Great size, but markers will bleed through the paper
I buy a tiny notebook like this for Inktober every year, and this one was pretty nice to use. * I like the square format, since I tend to post the output on Instagram afterwards * I like the size, because only having so much room to draw means I won't spend forever on it * The paper texture is nice and smooth and was great for blending markers; however: * I did get some bleeding with Copics, so I recommend putting a buffer sheet behind the one you're using if you're drawing with alcohol markers.

Really thin paper and the cover bends
I bought it for the size, to use as a travel journal, not for sketching. I don't draw so I don't know how the really thin paper would work with whatever pens/pencils artists would use with this but I journal with fountain pens or good quality gel pens. Absolutely not with this paper. I was on a trip when I started using it so the only choice I had was to glue together two pages back to back, otherwise the pens would bleed through too much. I'm an Archer and Olive journal person, so I am used to much better paper and covers that don't bend, like this one does. Because it's not sold as a journal and rather, a sketchbook I can only blame myself for not bringing a better journal but keep that thin paper in mind if you are an artist and know that you need something more substantial. Maybe for kids but I should have known better.

Read This before buying!!
Don’t buy!! Look at somthing else because when I first got it and started drawing in it I had to tape it because it was falling apart. The spine is also damaged and the quality of it is low. It also left a mark on the sketchbook when I used the band to seal it. I recommend looking at somthing else

It didn’t initially arrive on time as expected. Some sort of weird error or fluke I guess. Sketchbook itself is fine tho.

Perfect size for acrylic pracyice painting. Also great for making collectionsof you art work. I do findvthe pages a little thin. Tears easily when wet. Otherwise I'm happy with it!
