Q: Is the large front pocket designed to fit a headset?

No. Headsets will fit in the bag but not in either front pockets.

Q: How big is the main pouch or about how many pubs could I fit in it?

I put my heatset in the main pouch. Hope is the big on in the front you are referring to. This bag is very spacious for me especially when im doing cross country flights.

Q: Is the main compartment divider removable?

Yes it is. I like having one big main compartment so I took mine out.
