What is the longest length needle in this pack?

The longest one is 66.7 mm which is about 2 5/8"

how do I get the sashiko thread through those tiny eyes? so far I've only been able to get one of these needles threaded using a needle threader.

I fold the thread over and pinch it really tight...then push it through the eye. If you're using several strands of floss...you may need to separate them (and then put them back together)...as they're twisted (hence thicker) the way they come from the store. I think you can find videos on youtube showing how...but the bottom line is...your thread may be too thick for the needle.

Does anyone use these for binding books?

I have not used them for binding, but they certainly are sturdy enough, and they glide through because of the micro grooves on the shaft of the needle. Very sharp. Love them
