This little fan does a great job cooling off your cubicle in the office. It’s not whisper quiet but it sure isn’t very loud. Adding water really does the trick, keeping the area cool. I probably wouldnt use this in humid areas though. If you’re like me and do your job on the phone you don’t have to worry about the noise from this but, if the work you do is mostly in a headset you will need to be careful which way you have the mic. This little fan pushes out enough power that the wind from it will make it sound like you are in a wind storm making it hard for the people you are talking to difficult to hear you. However, that is the only problem. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is because of how fast it does use the water. It’s a minor thing but when your area is hot and you’re busy keeping track of the water level just isn’t possible. I really do love this little fan!

I really wanted to love this air cooler, but was nothing but disappointed from the moment I took it out of the box. First one of the louvers fell off as I was putting it together. (I was still hopeful, and thought, fine I can live with the broken piece) Then I read the directions and followed them to a T. Well, long story short, this does not blow cold air, and the amount of air that comes from it, is far less than a $5 cheap fan from Wal-mart puts out!!!!!! I tried it for a few days thinking, maybe it just needs to break in. I kept adding colder water, crushed ice, cubed ice, soaking and freezing the filter. No go!!!! Do not waste your money. Just buy a cheap fan and you will be much better off than wasting your time and money with this.

I ordered 4 of these. Two were just as described. Two were obviously an older model as the charger cable connection did not have a micro USB, but an old standard plug in. One appeared to have been shipped without a cable and since it was the old fashioned kind there was now way to substitute a phone charger cable. We subsequently found the cable (inside, where it definitely shouldn’t have been and not where it was with the other three). It blows ok, but more like a fan with a whiff of cooling; even with ice in the full chamber, than a true portable A/C

Did not feel like it helped much, so I am going to return

I recently purchased my home with NO AC and this has been my saving grace. To get really cold air, I wet and freeze the filter and put ice cubes in the tray. A MUST BUY

I can barely feel the air and it was less than 2 feet away from me. You have to be directly in front of it all the time to feel the benefit. It does work better with ice cold water or ice chips but not significant enough to worth the price

Its great for small rooms! I get it ready about half hour before bedtime, i put ice n water in it n close my bedroom door n when I'm ready for bed its nice n cool.

Well not exactly a strong airflow. Would need two one on each side of my bed. Great for a one person cooling system
