HunterGREY Low Angle Nozzle Rack for PGP-ADJ Series

I was tired of the stock nozzles that came with the PGP's until is found they a shorter distant nozzles. I replaced a couple to test and it changed everything. I didn't have to worry anymore about the overspray too much into another zone or the neighbors yard or street. Thank You !

Great products, perfect fit for my sprinklers

Other reviews on these nozzles have not be very well directed to what these nozzles actually do, so I thought a relevant review was appropriate. These nozzles work with the Hunter PGP-ADJ Rotator. The rotators come with the red nozzles that throw water at a 25 degree upward angle. This works well for most riser applications, particularly when a longer throw is used. The red nozzles have lots of flow rate options to meet a wire variety of situations. I love the Hunter rotators when flexibility is required. These grey nozzles throw water at a 13 degree upward angle. This is useful when you want to make sure you don't over shoot the target area. Or, in my case, I used some rotators on 6 foot tall risers for overhead watering of trees in pots. The high angle red nozzles were throwing water over the close pots so I switched to these. They do the job very well along with the proper adjustment of the diffusion screw. There are fewer options on the low angle throw as you might expect because the low angle is just not going to go that far. One important thing that this set includes that is not on the red set is the blank nozzle. There are times when you want to blank out a riser without removing it from the line and capping the tap. The blank nozzle does that and it only comes on this set.

Hunter Rotary came with blue nozzles which were OK. My spray distance is only 25 feet. I wanted to throw more water a little lower so less evaporates/mists into the air. Gray nozzles worked perfect for this. Probably throws water half the height and puts down an additional 30%. Don’t think I’d try to get further than 30 feet with the grays. Don’t love the price of these.

These valves have worked as advertised. They easily fit into the existing sprinklers and have lowered the angle at which the water sprays thus reducing the amount of evaporation prior to hitting the ground. The slight downside is that they do not spray as far as they did when they were shooting at a higher angle but that is the physics of it.The fact that each tree of eight only has 6 of the low angle valves along with 1 with a smaller hole and one plug meant I had to buy more trees than I wanted to in order to change out my entire yard. So there is some waste if you cannot figure a use for the small hole ones and the plugs.

The order came sooner than expected and it was correct. product worked as stated in my hunter pgp sprinkler head.The nozzle reduced the spray angle to match the pgp ultra heads.
