Will this work in a annke system

Hi Yes, I installed this Purple WD Hard Drive in my Annke 4 Camera DVR box in January. Easy straightforward install - open case, click the flying cables inside the case to the drive (it’s obvious where they go), and secure the drive inside the case. Been trouble free since Jan. 19. Hope this isn’t the ‘kiss of death’ 😉. D

After How many days will start rewriting itself?

Good morning, depends on the number of cameras connected to the DVR, their resolution and the type of recording you make (H24 or motion detection), and the video compression of your DVR. Cordially

I’m planning on using this to increase storage on a swann cctv system, i take it this will be ok?

In my opinion, yes. This should be checked in the swann manual.

Where do I get a power cable for this?

Just Google 'Sata Power Cable'. You will get many hits.
