Introduction to Cancer Biology

As a physician - scientist , I looked at this book to potentially have it used as a book for undergraduates. The book is poorly written and lacks specifics. It is also hard to follow. In addition, the person who wrote the book does not seem to have an in-depth understanding of the peer-reviewed literature. The book is often politically correct as opposed to scientifically correct when it talks of causes of cancer etc....

Well done. Though a bit technical for the retired physician, I learned alot

I liked the book quite a bit though it did lack depth in the area of clinical trials

I haven't read all of it, but it is written in a smooth easily accessible tone from what I have read.

Now the time to actually read it

Broad spectrum of cancer fields not only related to cancer biology. Very good sense of statistics depicting cancer behaving. Chapters are not monotone.

For science text it is easy to read and comprehend. Totally absorbing read.
