I Love My Password Book!: A Simple Password Journal

This password book measures 4 and a quarter inches by 6 inches so it would fit in a pocket or purse easily. Also, I like the leather-effect cover design, it looks really cool! The pages inside are laid out well. There is one page for each website, and each page has a large 'other' box which I will will use to write new passwords when I change my old ones (which I try to do quite often).It doesn't have alphabet tabs, but personally I think this is a good thing; with other journals Ive used, I had loads more 'A's than 'X's for example and I would run out of space for some letters. Instead, this book makes you write the website name sideways in the top corner, so you can find your login details for a particular site quickly just by flicking through the pages.

I bought this for my mother, who is technologically challenged. She keeps all her usernames and passwords written in a journal. It's very disorganized, as I found out when she loaned it to me so I could copy down her important passwords, in case anything happened to her and I needed access to her bank account. She had usernames scribbled sideways in the margins, along with a variety of passwords. She refuses to write in pen, because what if she makes a mistake and needs to erase something? So, all the penciled entries had faded to the point where they were virtually unreadable. I decided then and there that I was going to buy her one of these password books, along with a set of Frixion erasable pens.This book is great! It's designed specifically for keeping account numbers, usernames, and passwords, so it has divided sections to write all the info down. It's not alphabetized, but if you're organized enough, you can always do that on your own. Each section is large enough that you don't have to squint to read it, and you don't have to write with teeny-tiny letters to fit the whole password, either. There's a box underneath each section where you can add notes, or write down changed passwords, or anything else you might need.If you have trouble remembering all your usernames and passwords, this is the book for you. Just remember to keep it in a SAFE place, so your nosy roommate won't find it and gain access to your email account. Five stars and recommended for anyone who wants to keep their passwords organized.

I was surprised that it didn't have a more solid cover. It's thinner than the cover on a mass market paperback. I suspect it won't hold up beyond a few months of regular use. If your goal is to fill it out and lock it in a safe deposit box for reference I highly recommend it. The format is the best out there.

It's like a simple note book that you buy in the stationary section for 4$ gluead at the back with a thin cardboard wrapper. Don't let the pic fool you, it isn't faux leather or anything, just a simple notebook.The interior is OK organized so I like the way the passwords and the URL are written on the page. it's just I would have expected a more sturdy mechanical booklet. I don't know how long this will last before the pages come out of the glue

The picture presents the product to be a thicker binding. I didn't expect hard bound, but I did expect that it would be at least a firm cardboard with the picture printed or laminated upon the on top. This product was like a paper note pad with picture printed on photo paper for a cover. I could have done that myself, and cheaper. The description should have been more clear. Also ,consider giving a "peek inside", like other products of this kind do. The lay out of the pages is not well done. Vertical labeling is not a good idea ever. Especially when your gifting to old people used to reading things from left to right in a traditional manner.

This was my second and third buy for this book, since I often misplace items. I was very disappointed because the printing on the front and back are OBVIOUSLY incomplete. For the price I paid, I should have taken the trouble to return but "trouble" is the key word. When I say incomplete, I mean that alongside the right front (and left back) the print-on color is defective and comes out white. I would appreciate very much a credit to my account. I won't be buying these for friends and am very disappointed in Amazon.I would appreciate a response from Amazon to my review/request. Not as pictured.

Two things I found 'wrong' with this book; (1) no place to write identifying personal information (2) it is not arranged alphabetically and it does not have more room at the back for note.Otherwise, the book is cute, perfect size and I love the soft-cover binded cover; certainly a change from a spiral.AND...it arrived VERY quickly!! (but I am returning it as I need a book that is catered to my #2 dislike)

My fault for not looking at the measurements. I wanted something small enough to put into my wallet and it does fit, but just a little too big. Will order another one and will pay more attention to size. It is very good for your password's and has some other areas for info. Just nothing wrong with the book. :)

Liked the Key image and size but think I would prefer an Index so I can find what I want quickly. There are 50 pages with a proforma for one password and notes below, on each side of a page, so 100 passwords in all.- I suppose if you divide the A-Z alphabet into 50 pages you get slightly below 2 pages (and 4 password forms) per Letter. Ok to allocate whatever pages to the Letters you actually use the most and also add your own A-Z - buy think one password and notes per side, is a waste of space and could have had at least, two per side. Prob use as a Master / spare?

Good little book for the purpose. Unfortunately for me I was taken in by the cover. I thought from the picture that it was PU imitation leather but, no, it is just a card cover. It does not have an index markers. Useful nevertheless.

I thought this book was a absolute waste of my money .I had to start putting in a index so that I could go straight to the page instead of turning the pages over from start to finish to obtain the required page .Would not recommend it to anyone

It is really set out well for you to keep track of your passwords. I haven't had time to fill it in yet but it will be so easy to use, and write in all the relevant information. I would recommend it to any one who has lots of passwords to remember.

Very disappointed with this notebook. At the price we expected a hardback volume at least. I can buy a similar notebook at Morrisons for 50p. Definitely not to be recommended.
