## Description

A small carrying knife with value pricing, Kershaw’s multifunctional Shuffle II (8750TBLKBW) is ideal for EDC. The consistent 8Cr13MoV stainless steel tanto-blade keeps its sharp edge and is designed to puncture, stab, chop or scape materials. Serving as a multitool, the knife features a flathead screwdriver tip, handy bottle opener and lanyard hole. The Shuffle II offers a bigger blade and longer handle making a brawnier, larger version of the original Shuffle. The blade’s Blackwash finish has no shine, is non-reflective and hides scratches, scuffs and fingerprints. The glass-filled black matte nylon handle offers increased strength, stiffness and dimensional stability while textured lines provide comfortable and secure grip. Dual, ambidextrous thumbstuds positioned on both sides of blade make manual opening safe, comfortable and ergonomic. The Shuffle II’s reversible pocketclip is convenient for tip-down left or right handed carry. A titanium liner lock secures the blade during use.

Review: Sturdy little guy! It's very comfortable to operate and to hold. It is very stable. - I just received this today, and I have to say that I am very pleased. I haven't put it to the test of abuse yet, but these are my first impressions. The described size of it is deceptive. It's by far more comfortable in my large hands than I expected. It's a tiny knife that fits like a bigger one. The ergonomics are excellent. More important all of the action is very smooth and very solid. No noticeable wobbly bits. Stays firmly closed and open, and doesn't want to be anything other than one of the two unless it's told to. The factory edge is, as expected, quite sharp. Everything is extremely comfortable. The wide spacing between the thumb stud and handle is especially worth note, as it makes the blade very easy to deploy even while wearing gloves. The overall "broadness" makes it very easy to keep in hand. And the robust "bottle opener" makes for enough counterweight to give a nice balance. The overall weight and feel is very light. While nothing about the construction feels "weak". My one complaint is, that while the rest of the knife seems to be made for big clumbsy hands, the safety lock is very tiny and barely protrudes. So closing the blade could be a challenge with gloves or in the cold with numb fingers. Any other possible complaint can be answered with "you should have bought a different style of knife.". I've included pictures comparing it to my old EDC, a Gerber Evo, that's lasted me about 9 years. The two shouldn't be compared in the same category but I feel it is relevant for size comparison. Considering the price, unless you need a bigger blade, this seems to be a really good option. **Update** I changed it to a 5 star. This tiny little guy has turned into my shop go-to. The edge is extremely easy to maintain and holds well. The screwdriver and bottle opener have both proven much more useful than I expected. But probably the most important is the stubby tanto blade shape and ergonomics. This has effectively turned into a folding pocket chisel for me. The fat short blade with so much grip space makes it very controllable for precise but powerful work. Also ran it through 20' of cardboard, with a few plastic packing straps along the way (the shop had received a shipment of aluminum box tube, wrapped in cardboard and straps), in a single go and it didn't even slow down to think about it. Supurb little beater knife and I almost want to stock up on them exactly for that purpose.
Review: Good - Fantastic for the price. Decent quality.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent little knife
*by C***N on November 8, 2017*

My go to knife is a Kershaw Clash Folding Knife with SpeedSafe (with serration), which I've owned for three years now. I love it because I can open it quickly and with one hand. It's also proven to be a dependable knife, serving me well since summer 2015. I recently had the opportunity of taking a road trip from LA to Philly, and since I obviously can't bring a knife with me through TSA (and didn't want to deal with the hassle and potential for lost baggage by checking the knife in a checked bag), I decided to order this on Amazon and ship it directly to where I was staying at in LA before the trip started. This knife served me well for the 10 days I used it. A knife in general comes in handy all the time for any number of things, and it certainly came in handy on a cross country road trip. Not only did I use it all the time for its blade, but I actually used the bottle opener more than a few times. I did specifically buy this knife because of the bottle opener, even after reading the poor reviews for it. It's a decent little knife for the price but I probably would not buy again. I removed one star because I thought it was actually a little too much for what you're getting. I understand that I may be being too critical here. However I don't like how the finger grooves are placed on this knife. I never explicitly felt like I'd hurt myself at any time using the blade, but the thought certainly crossed my mind multiple times. It feels solid enough that I don't think I'd ever cut myself accidentally, but your finger is close to the blade when holding the knife normally...a little too close to the blade than I would prefer. Another thing I didn't like about this knife is the blade isn't the easiest to get out with one hand. Coming from the Kershaw Clash, I absolutely am spoiled with the SpeedSafe feature that model has, so this may not be a con for you. The only way to open the blade is using the thumb stud. This is not a problem in any way, it's just a bit of a pain due the size of the knife, especially if your hands are larger. I have "medium to large" sized hands and it was a little awkward to hold while opening with just one hand. Closing needs to be done with one hand as well (I can close my Clash with one hand). It has absolutely no spring assistance whatsoever, so this is great for people who live in areas that prohibit such knives. What really bothered me is there totally was a flipper on this model (like what you would see on a SpeedSafe assisted knife like the Clash and others, enabling you to open the blade and lock it in place using your thumb or forefinger, and often easier and faster than opening it manually or with the thumb stud on the blade itself). Just by looking at where it would be, it's very obvious that it was removed/machined away as an afterthought. Why Kershaw did this is beyond me, as I personally love the flipper. Even without it being SpeedSafe assisted, that flipper makes opening the knife so much easier and faster. I was a bummed this feature was removed from this knife, however the flipper was never a feature listed on the product description so I am not, not getting what I paid for, and am not removing a star because of this. Like others have said, the bottle opener is a little odd. It seems it's not quite big enough or something. However, knowing this, I had no problems actually opening any bottles with this opener. I sometimes had to do it twice as the first attempt would open it maybe 90%, needing a little additional push to totally remove the cap. Other times I was able to remove a bottle cap one the first try. I think one time I ended up getting a little beer on my hand/knife, but otherwise this was a complete non-issue and the inclusion of a bottle opener on this knife made a great additional feature to this tool. Other thoughts and overall impressions: This knife is small. It was smaller than I thought it would be. I clearly did not pay attention to the dimensions listed here enough. This wasn't a problem thought, I knew it was going to be smaller (smaller than my Clash at least). The finish on it is pretty cool. I like the all black/worn look to it. The grips seem maybe a little chintzy but not a deal breaker at all, and doesn't negotiably impact its usability or usefulness (and for the price this is hardly a con). Due to its size, most likely, it is lighter than I was used to. This took a little getting used to. The knife is made in China if that's something you care about. I personally did not in this case as I just needed a small, cheap knife for my roadtrip and this fit the bill perfectly. The blade is very sharp from the factory which is great! In the almost two weeks I used it, it did not seem to dull a significant amount. The finish also has held up nicely. All in all I'm glad I bought this model. If I were looking for a knife I'd be using everyday for a long time then I'd definitely go for something else/bigger. However this little knife works and works well and offers some nice features for its price point. Now that my trip is over it will serve as a backup knife/backpack knife; it'll actually probably sit in my toolbox until the next time I need a smaller blade.
