nauseous/bloating feelings, yet mind is clear and energetic
I have been researching around for best women's multivitamin supplements and came across this one on many websites. I decided to get a 120 capsule bottle just to try it out for 30 days and see how it turns out. I take them day and night, 2 capsules each time just like it recommended. I take them with just a glass of water without food every morning and before bed at night. Day 1, I wasn't feeling much difference besides my stomach feels a bit bloating and quite gassy. Day 2, about an hour after taking the vitamin, I started feeling very nauseous, I felt pretty sick to the point that I wanted to throw up but held it down with a bit of food. I actually felt pretty energetic and not tired or anything through out the day but the nauseous feeling was also bothering me. The feeling got better through out the day so I kept on. Day 3, I still get the same nauseous sensation but not as bad, I feel more dizzy than nauseous, doesn't feel like throwing and my head is clear and still energetic like day 2. Note to myself and everyone: I realized the feelings I'm getting it very similar to how my body reacts to caffeine. I'm not a coffee person, and don't usually drink coffee/energy drinks/or soft drinks. But every time when I do drink them, I tend to get this dizzy/light headed feeling yet did keep my mind awake and help me through the morning. So maybe just my body is acting up to nutrition I'm not used to. And I'm trying to see if my body can adapt to it over time. *I'M STILL ON THE THIRD DAY OF THE PRODUCT, GOING TO CONTINUE MONITOR AND KEEP THIS REVIEW UPDATED AS I GO. I don't want to give it zero credit but also can't give it a 5 star at this point, just going to keep monitoring* Update 02/02/19, changing it to a 5 star, in love with this product and buying it again. After taking this for over 3 weeks I can confidently say it's working and I love it. Starting 5th day all the uncomfortable feeling stopped and my body got used to taking this vitamin. I still feel energetic but perhaps isn't as obvious but I'm ok with it. I do realized my first urine after taking first dose every day has turned more yellow though (not the dark type of yellow when you're dehydrated), but it doesn't bother me. That sort of concludes all my observations of this product, I hope it helps the rest of you guys!

Convenient for woman
I like that this multivitamin combines a variety of vitamins and minerals in one product and is specifically formulated for women. The capsules are easy for me to incorporate into my daily routine, and I also appreciate the whole-food approach and the addition of probiotics. The bottle has a generous 120-count supply, which is convenient. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would purchase it again.

More than your AVERAGE Multi-vitamin
I am a Registered Dietitian, so needless to say I have tried many multivitamins on the market. The Vitamin Code Womens Formula exceeds many of the other Woman's Multivitamins in many respects in comparison to the generic One-a-Day or Centrum. The Pros: 1) Made from whole foods so more of the vitamins and minerals are absorbed into your blood stream in comparison to the synthetic made multivitamins. In addition, you do not have to take with food. A simple glass of water will do the trick. 2) It has more then adequate B vitamins and Folic Acid for the day. 3) It also has added Vitamin D - an essential Vitamin for the absorption of Calcium and other human functions. CoenzymeQ10 is an added bonus - researchers have found this to be beneficial in decreasing risk of heart disease to fighting cancer. 4) Probiotics and Antioxidants have been added also to keep the immune system running strong. The Cons: 1) You have to take 4 of these capsules a day; 2 capsules twice a day for better absorption. The pills are also on the bigger side. You can open the capsules and put into your food, smoothie or other beverage, which is helpful if you have trouble swallowing these. 2) If your Iron or Calcium is low, you may need an additional supplement. For the average Woman, the amount in here is fine. I do recommend this product on a Regular basis to my clients for overall health. I have been taking these on a daily basis and have found myself getting sick less often and having more energy. Definitely a good one!

Best vitamins at any price - Garden of Life is a phenomenal brand - BUY IT
Garden of Life makes very high-quality products. I am a member of a consumer watchdog group that does research on supplements (ConsumerLab.com), and Garden of Life NEVER comes up on the "not recommended" list. I love Garden of Life products. This is one of the few vitamins I can take that my body will absorb, due to Leaky Gut Syndrome. I do not find taking two pills twice a day too difficult to remember. Having chronic health problems makes me very aware of my body all the time. Thanks to some fine Garden of Life vitamins and other GOL products, my health is greatly improved. They are very thoughtful in their recipes: They put probiotics and digestive enzymes in their vitamins - they did this before we even knew that gut health is most important; they put vitamin D3 (a respectable dose) and vitamin K in their vitamins for calcium absorption - and they put calcium in there too; they put molybdenum in their formula - which is handy for removing toxins; they even put an antioxidant in their vitamins! It's like one-stop shopping. It really is more than a vitamin - this is good for you on so many levels. They are quite simply the best vitamins I have ever found. They are very friendly to people suffering from candida overgrowth. One in three people have candida overgrowth - it's like a silent epidemic (it doesn't help that 99.97% of all doctors refuse to talk about it). It seems like the creators of Garden of Life are helping us - and probably 95% of people taking the vitamins do know have the knowledge to appreciate the ingredients and the benefits they will reap from taking those ingredients. I hope nothing changes with Garden of Life - I never begrudge the money I spend on their products. (Their probiotics are off the hook!) Thank you Garden of Life people - and please, do not change.

Great Vitamins for People Who Hate Vitamins *Updated*
I started taking these vitamins after some routine blood work found that I was Iron and Vitamin D deficient. I absolutely hate taking vitamins and even shudder when I think of the Flinstone Kid's Days when my parents would hand us our vitamins after dinner. I hate the taste of vitamins and I get the dreaded 'vitamin burps' after I take vitamins that makes it even worse. I knew I had to start taking vitamins so I went to Amazon to look at brands and this came up, after reading the reviews I was pretty much sold and ordered the Women's Multi and an additional Vitamin D for supplementing. My doctor recommended extra Vitamin D for a certain period of time hence the addition. After starting these I started to feel so much better within a couple days. I had more energy and was less fatigued (that's what low Iron will do to you) and I just felt "brighter." I did get the 'vitamin burps' but instead of gross, synthetic tasting vitamins it kind of tasted like I had a piece of fruit earlier and the few burps I got ceased after 10 minutes instead of the hours-long bitter taste in the back of my throat with regular vitamins. Are these pills kind of big? Yes. Is it kind of a drag to take 4 per day? Yes. But guess what? These vitamins are worth it and it's not hard to add this routine to your life. Buy a AM/PM Pocket Pill Box and you can fit your vitamins for the day plus some more in here. Take two after breakfast and then two after dinner. You're done! That's what I did and I haven't forgotten to take the Vitamins since buying them. I've been taking them since mid-Feb 2014 so I'm hoping some other perks will kick in soon like quicker hair growth, thicker hair etc but I haven't seen any of that yet. Also, just as a tip, I started my vitamin regimen by doing only 2 vitamins per day for the first week. I read a review or a Q&A that said Iron could cause bloating and it's good to ease into it. I had no issues when I started the vitamins and no issues once I went to 4 pills per day. I would definitely recommend these to my friends and I plan on buying them again. *3/25/15 Update* So after a year of taking these vitamins I highly recommend them and here's why: I have not fallen ill since starting these; by 'falling ill' I mean sick enough that I need to call off of work or I'm too sick to get out of bed. You know, the flu, serious sinus infection, colds, etc. There have been a couple instances where I felt a little sick but nothing that I couldn't work through or handle and it's because of this product. How do I know? Here's how I know: I started to run low on these vitamins during a bad month where money was tight and I didn't want to spend $40. I told myself I would buy them when I got paid and I ran out with two weeks to wait. During the first week of not taking them I began to get sick. Out of nowhere and it was that familiar feeling of aches, pains, fatigue, stuffiness, the whole nine. I knew it was because I wasn't taking my vitamins so I ordered them with Prime and I couldn't shove them in my mouth fast enough when they arrived. I didn't immediately feel better or anything but paired with my Olive Leaf I was able to stop whatever I had from getting worse. I haven't gone without them since and it is now on the list of must-haves regardless if money is tight or not.

Raw, Whole Food Vitamins that Actually Make a Difference!
I absolutely love these vitamins. I have been taking them for a few years, and they are the first vitamins I've taken where I can tell a difference when I start them... AND when I stop them. I feel better on them and I feel worse without them. These vitamins are raw and contain food based nutrients. The primary vitamins are created via a fermentation process which creates highly bioactive vitamins, coenzymes, and probiotics. They also include a nice blend of superfoods and digestive enzymes to balance it out. Unlike with other synthetic vitamins, there are zero adverse reactions. No stomach upset or headaches. Just a an energized feeling of wellness. Please be aware that you should take 4 a day. I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. That may seem like a lot, but remember that these are whole food vitamins. It's easier to cram a ton of synthetic vitamins into a smaller one a day pill when you don't care about quality. Garden of Life is an industry leader and well respected in the natural health world. Also, it's important to note that there is very little calcium and magnesium in this vitamin. I love their algae based calcium, but I'm currently on a budget that won't allow it. But there are a number of natural calcium supplements that will do the job. I highly recommend this to ANYONE, but I particularly recommend it to anyone suffering from a chronic illness, cancer, or a general sense of being unwell. I had my mother start these, along with a number of other supplements, when she was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma. Her lymph masses shrunk by more than half after her first treatment, much to her doctors surprise. By the end of treatment, they had returned to normal size. It's been a year and they haven't grown back. While it is likely only a matter of time, her response to treatment was excellent and Im certain these vitamins and the other organic/raw/whole foods supplements made a difference. Her doctor did not expect her to respond so well! If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reply to this review, tweet me, or shoot me an email! Links can be found in my Amazon profile. Thanks! I wish you happiness and health! :-)

Great ingredients and seem to be working
I've been taking 2 of these per day so far, which is half the recommended daily dose. I always like to start out slow with trying new vitamins, just in case of side effects. I'm actually slightly hypochondriac about taking new things, actually, from prior reactions to medications and things in the past. I'm happy to report that when I take these, I literally don't feel anything negative happening. The capsules are bigger than what I'm used to swallowing, so I just open them up and dump them into some orange juice. I can barely taste them in it. I recommend putting them in something like a shake though because sometimes the powder will stick to the edge of the cup and I have to add more water to get the rest of it in me. That's when it tastes nasty. I noticed within days that it seemed like my energy was up, my focus was better, and I felt honestly a bit lighter and happier. Nothing major, but enough to go hmmmm. Now a week in, I do notice some gas and its bad. Like, just every now and then a fart escapes out of nowhere and its pretty pungent. Definitely the silent but deadly variety. However, I'm dropping #2's twice a day now, which is much better than my every couple of days constipated struggle. I'm going to chalk that up to the probiotics and hopefully everything will settle down after my body gets used to them. So yah, the gas isn't the greatest but I'm hoping that subsides in time as my body adjusts. Otherwise I'm so far seeing positive change already. I'll update if anything changes.
