Old Wisconsin Beef Sausage Snack Sticks, 14 OZ Resealable Pack

These are my favorite!!! I absolutely love them. After having my baby this was all I wanted to eat! These ingredients aren’t the best. For what you get the price is so worth it! They’re so tender. The packaging is so good it helps to keep them fresh. They are a good size. They’re a nice easy snack if you want. They taste good with a stick of cheese.

I really like these snacks. They are the perfect size for afternoon, midday treat with low calories and carbs. Compared to other brands this is a very good value for your money and they taste great. After I open mine, I put them in the refrigerator and they definitely last at least a couple weeks. I’ve never had them longer because I’ve always run out.

We ran out of our usual brand and bought these mostly for our spoiled puppers, though we snack em occasionally too. The flavor was good; we were pleased with it and the pup was too. And they were very fresh. The issue came when we were down to the last half or so (we cut them in half to fit our container). We had to throw a couple out due to mold last week. Then, the other day, I had to toss the remaining 15 or so halves out for mold. For reference, we tend to go through approx. 5-8 of these halves a day and I think we had them 2 or 2.5 weeks before I tossed the last. Our usual brand holds up a good month or more on the counter and are typically gone before issues arise. We aren't mad, just disappointed. It can happen, especially as we had it on our counter in a closed container. However, that's only happened once with our usual brand that we get at a local Mennonite store. If we get these again at all, they'll have to be eaten VERY quickly and/or stored in the fridge to extend the shelf life. The product and value for the cost would be worth it with these protective measures in place, I feel.

I have purchased these Wisconsin snack sticks many times. When I come in the house after chores, these serve as a great snack. The taste is very good and would be convenient on the road or for hiking. The only drawback is the subtle slimy feeling of the skin when taking them from the package--I always need a napkin to wipe my fingers.

I ordered a package of these sausage sticks when both of the brands I usually buy were out of stock or too expensive. Old Wisconsin was priced at a bargain, so I gave it a try. I found the taste bland and the texture suspiciously squishy. It's not bad, and I did finish the package. I just wouldn't choose it again.

They’re actually very delicious, & longer than the ones I normally buy.

Surprising sausages! Delivered on May 3 and best by date was April 4. Sausages were hot and mushy, for those who prefer it that way. Personally we do not.
