It’s a three dollar knife…right?
I do not recommend this knife…for the most part. If you’re looking for an effective, functional little knife for fishing, hunting or other general cutting tasks then look elsewhere. The blade geometry on this knife is not good. The straight, rectangular blade with the flat tip and the narrow flat grind cause this knife to be not good at cutting and slicing. The flat of the blade, the thickest part of the blade which runs down the center of this blade, is too wide and the grind on the blade is a flat grind on both the top and bottom of the blade. Because the grind on the straight edge side is flat and too narrow, the blade right above the edge is too thick which makes it very difficult to get an acute edge on the blade. The factory edge was uneven and at least 25º per side. Also, there’s barely any curve in the plain edge side of the blade and the tip is cut off flat like a flat head screwdriver and not sharpened so there’s no good place on the blade to initiate any kind of cut. Even after grinding a new, steeper relief on the blade with a diamond file, it’s barely any better and still doesn’t cut very well. The serrations aren’t the typical kind of serrations you usually see on commercial knives, there more like the teeth on a rip saw. They’re thick and kind of sharp, they snag and tear cloth pretty good and they might saw wood (like small branches) fairly well, I haven’t tried that though. They would not slice cleanly through materials like serrations on a thin edged knife would. It also has a line cutter on the serration side just behind the serrations. I haven’t used it but it is a bit unevenly ground and unevenly sharpenedOther aspects of this knife – it’s fairly easy to open, there’s a (philips head) screw to tighten or loosen or remove the blade; the handle snaps securely under the back end of the blade when open; the handle is 4 3/4” long and made of hard plastic; the blade is 4” long, about 3/4” wide and about 1/8” thick. The blade steel is uncertain, most websites I’ve seen it on list it as “stainless steel”, even the Fury website lists it only as “stainless steel”. I did find one website that lists it as 440b, that may be true. It is a fairly hard steel, it looks high Chromium and corrosion resistant and I discovered when sharpening it that it’s a fairly tough steel. It’s made in China I’ve looked at several thousand knives on the internet over the past couple of years and have seen blades that were somewhat similar to this one in terms of blade geometry and blade grind and costing a lot more than this one, which brings me to the one reason I would recommend this knife. If you’re going to waste your money on a junk blade, get the cheapest one you can find, this one. I paid three and a half dollars for it on Amazon. If you’re interested in buying it I wouldn’t pay more than that for it. It’s a good, inexpensive way to learn a lesson about what kind of blade geometry is bad and what kinds of blades to avoid buying. Fury, of coarse, would make money this way and produce more cheap knives.

Good for the price and usage
After some significant local searching, and the help of a friend who has one that is a few years old, I finally found this utility knife online. Considering the price (very, very inexpensive) and the intended use (cutting light grass and brush) I think the knife is very well suited. I like the basic design which folds the cutting edges completely away when not using it, and the bright coloration of the handle keeps it from hiding itself on the ground. My only semi-complaint is related to the design of the "locking" mechanism....and while sufficient for a competent adult to use, folks with weak hands should probably be well supervised in order to not have the blade fold itself open and into the hand trying to use the knife. In other terms, keep a very strong grip when using this knife.

Outstanding Utility Knife Value
I love this little utility knife, super sharp with a nice multifunction blade for the unconscious price of $3 and change, amazing.

My favorite
I’ve owned three of these in my life and I love them. Light and thin, it’s easy to carry and easy to clean. Don’t try to do anything with it that doesn’t otherwise make sense. This is for fine finesse work, not chopping.

Item works, but has a cheap and flimsy feel. It doesn't stay closed well.
