There are a number of negative reviews of this product including photos of injuries, all I can say is that there are two types of mandolin, one you can play with your fingers and one that you shouldn't let your fingers come into contact with! This tool, kitchen knives, axes and chain-saws can cause injuries if you are not careful. Tip - just hold the veg with your hand to start with, then when your fingers are getting close to the blade use the veg holder. ### ⭐⭐ Uneven cuts *by C***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2019* I bought this mandoline to be able to make perfect even slices and unfortunately this product didn't do this.
