This book is a tribute to the life and work of Zecharia Sitchin. He was a pioneer who left a great legacy behind regarding our ancient past and the origins of mankind. He taught us to think in new ways based on his breakthrough research and exciting discoveries. Sitchin was one of about 200 people who could translate the first form of writing on the earth - ancient Sumerian cuneiform script. By combining translated text with modern scientific knowledge and archaeological discoveries, he pieced together in his books a more complete mosaic of mankind's shrouded past. He believed that mythological stories were not figments of people's imaginations, but records of events that had actually taken place, and spent his life proving it. As modern science catches up with ancient knowledge, we have continued to discover, largely through Sitchin's work, that the gods were once here and that they may be coming back. M. J. Evans, Ph.D., presents in this work an extremely well researched overview of Sitchin's contributions to the knowledge of ourselves and our true origins. His work is put within the framework of a new paradigm, which is looming on the horizon. It will grow as our minds continue to open and new discoveries continue to corroborate his findings.

Great read!
A wonderful overview of Sitchin's monumental research by a personal friend. The explanations of why 'fans' and detractors react to his work is so well done. I think everyone who has read one of Sitchin's books should read this before reading his additional books. And everyone should read all of Sitchin's books as he solves life's biggest questions.

The Legacy of Zecharia Sitchin.
Looking for an introduction and review of the "Zecharie Sitchin" research and writings. Good book, it inspired me to purchase the Zecharia Sitchin Complete Collection Set Of Books.

Zacharia is a must read for all.
I've read several of Zecharia's books and consequently enjoyed reading about the man himself while getting a summary of his beliefs. I recommend his books to all who wish to expand their understanding of the beginning of time in our solar system.

The Effect of Sitchin on the World View of Man's Existence
This book presents an analysis of the impact Zecharia Sitchin has had on the world view of man's creation and history. The Sitchin books contain the results of a lifetime of scholarly work translating Sumerian tablets written in cuneiform as well as correlated works from other civilizations and cultures describing the regular presence of extraterrestrials on earth and the creation of man by these extraterrestrials to provide a useful workforce. This set of works by Sitchin has rattled the complacence of traditionalists that fall into one of two intransigent camps, either pure evolution or purely divine creationism. The author of this work analyzes the nature of paradigm shifts and shows why it is often difficult to deal with changing paradigms or world views. The book is easy to read and comprehend but it deals with material that may prove controversial to those who are stake holders in one of the traditional paradigms of man's existence. The book raises a lot of questions that arise from the paradigm shift like what will happen when these not so godly "gods" return on their planet's next orbital pass into the near solar system.

Fascinating man but I wanted to know more about him
I have read many is Mr. Sitchin's books and and was immediately impressed with his research. He was able to read and decipher many languages (some archaeic), some not longer spoken but only in writings. Some may think his ideas are far-fetched, but I am inclined to respect his research and understand why he came to the conclusions he did. The only problem I had with the book was that I wanted to understand the MAN, his childhood, his education, how he learned the many languages, his family life. I was interested in how he became the learned and insightful and compassionate man he was. However, the book presented his travels for research. I hope someone will write about the personal and intellectual life in depth of this fascinating man.

Evans did a great job of over-viewing them
I have read Sitchin's books. Evans did a great job of over-viewing them. Evans also shed light on the presence of U-235 in the Sinai Peninsula, showing nuclear bombs were exploded there in 2024 B.C.E. As a former radio chemist, I would be interested to know who did the U-235 analysis.

Importante
Hoy ha llegado el paquete y inmediatamente lo he ojeado. Una muy buena aclaración sobre el personaje del Sr. Zacharia Sitchin, que en todos los puntos le hace justicia.

A legacy that must be celebrated
Whether or not you agree with Sitchin, you should read this as it's is a good overview of his work from the 30 year research slog of the 12 Planet right through The Lost Book of Enki to There Were Giants Upon the Earth. It's interesting to hear it from somebody else's perspective and whether you fully believe or are on the fence, it's a fun, educational and interesting read.
