WHY I BOUGHT THIS ITEM Hing can be tightened for straight angle off a sloaping dash. Sits high enough on dash- no radar obstruction. Added benefits in California law nothing can be attached to windshield to obstruct drivers view. Stealth as suction cups on a windshield is a dead giveaway for smash and grab thieves radar detector in car glove box.

Yeah, if you have a nice vehicle, this is the one. I mounted mine on the underside of a lip, so the jury is out if the adhesion holds but it's the standard 3m stuff, so if it fails, its not really this companies fault. I noticed from a side view, there is a very slight curve on the adhesion side, I 'think' that's on purpose? not sure, but I do have a concern if all the adhesion is applied or just the edges. Its incredibly small, neat. All the other products like this are plastic cheapo looking things, this is not. You can fold it up when not in use (if you don't crank down on the bolts). Only drawback perhaps is that it doesn't pivot side to side if you wanted to angle it toward the driver.. not an issue for me at all.. the parallel pivot is endlessly flexible though on how you want to set it up..

I've tried numerous car holder/mounts for the car. None of them really fit the bill. And I really didn't need one that bad. But recently, I was driving across country and also I do some work that requires use of the phone's map. So, it became more of a necessity. This thing is awesome!! Very small, hasn't budged since I placed it on dash. Can toss phone up there with one hand and without even looking to make sure I'm putting in the right spot. Powerful magnet. Adjust in any direction necessary. Best phone mount!!

Upon opening the package, you will feel like you made an excellent choice. The holder itself, innovative, high quality, really flexible in the automotive environment. You'll really enjoy the combination of high power magnets teamed up with the rubber grips and the minimalisitic design.Instant failure. As instructed, I applied the metal plate provided. When I was ready to conclude the use of this product, pulled my phone away, only to find the metal plate left on the holder! The adehsion failed at first use! Disappointing as their plates have an attractive design and size.90% impressed as I had to reply on another seller to sell me a magentic plate that actually sticks. Since then, every subsequent use of this dash mount has been amazing.My device is a OnePlus 7TP. A nearly .5lb little hefer. I wish you luck

I use oversized phones. My daily driver is a Pixel 2 XL, works like a champ but it is BIG and a touch heavy. As such there are very few phone holders that will grip the phone well, and most of those look like crap. Yet another huge hunk of plastic is not what I want in my life. I've tried a few magnetic mounts as well and none have worked well at all. This mount from Sancore is FANTASTIC. It is super small and very discrete. The two adjustable joints allow me to make the mout fit very closely with the contour of my dash. Using the included metal plate inside my leather case there is more than enough magnetic force and friction to keep my phone exactly where I put it.

If you can find the right spot this is a nice little mount. Keep in mind, in reality, this thing is quite small, but is genuinely a hefty little hunk of metal bits that gives the impression of quality. The mount holds my Note with Pelican case securely. No sliding so far, even while light off roading, and holds adjustment while still being movable.

I really like how strong the magnet is and the strength of the hold with this mount. I'm not a huge fan of the adhesive because I know that if it gets too hot in the car it will start to deteriorate, but it hasn't happened yet and other than that it's a great mount for the phone. Since the joints are so tight, they'll hold a phone steady even if it's a little on the heavy side. Another thing is that once you put it in place, it won't turn or rotate except on the axis of the joints, so make sure you have it exactly the way you want it before you set it in position permanently. All in all, I really think this mount is a great option for the car or desktop.
