The Truckee BP 150 LX strikes me as Lowepro's best attempt to update the long discontinued Fastpack 100, right down to its attractive two-tone design possibilities. But instead of Fastpack's red/black or blue/back, the Truckee can be had in a subdued two-tone gray. Like the Fastpack 100, the Truckee 150 offers a top compartment for holding sundries, say a wallet, phone, and a lightweight windbreaker or a set of headphones (think beats), and a bottom compartment for packing a small camera (my X100 line camera, filters, spare battery, lens hood, and so on fits perfectly). Unlike the Fastpack 100, the Truckee 150 offers a tablet compartment (it comfortably holds my 9.7 enclosed in case and keyboard). But unlike the comparable Tahoe 150, the tablet compartment is better placed. The Tahoe places it at the front of the pack; the Truckee at the back, making for a better weight distribution. There is one side pocket, and it includes an adjustment strap to help balance a small tripod. The pocket can also fit a small water bottle or glasses case. This is the bag I've been looking for. It is tiny, and thus a perfect daypack for the street or candid photographer. It is lightweight, and thus a perfect day-to-day bag for commuters that and others that prefer to always have a camera at hand. It is unobtrusive, and thus a bag unlikely to earn the ire of a museum guard or to draw the attention of less savory types. Well done, Lowepro. Update: I picked up the 200 in order to carry a laptop. Like its little brother, the 200 functions well as a mirrorless camera daypack. The description suggests this bag is appropriate for a DCLR kit. I'm not sure I agree with that assessment, so buyer beware.

I have a Sony A7Rii and a Nikon Coolpix P1000. I love my Nikon for the superzoom, I love my Sony a7rii because it takes amazing photos. I travel a lot and want to take both cameras. This bag finally does it. I have the Sony A7rII with attached 12-24mm wide angle lens and my Nikon p1000 in the front pocket. I also carry a Sony 24-240 lens. The front pocket fits both cameras and I put the lens in the top pocket. I can also fit my 15inch MacBook Pro 2019 and my iPad Pro 11inch in the laptop pocket. I have a Lowepro bp 150awII, it fits my cameras and lens but no room for laptop so I have been carrying two bags for traveling. I also tried the Lowepro Hatchback 250AWII but again no spot for laptop. fits both cameras easily and extra lens. I also tried the Lowepro fastback BP250AWII, which is awesome and holds everything but bag alone is almost 4 pounds while this Truckee BP250LX is only 1.5 empty, but the extra weight adds more protection for your gear. I didn't care for the camera slot on the fastback BP250 AWII but that is personal preference bc I cannot get those velcro dividers where I want them for the 2 cameras. I also have the MIndshift photocross 15, which I like, it holds everything but again it is heavier weight and I find the side pocket awkward, but the heaviness does add protection for your equipment. I preferred the camera pouch in the front on the Truckee BP 250lx bc my husband usually carries the bag for me :-) and it is easy to get to. There are plenty of pockets to keep my phone and my passport although not RF protected. Also plenty of room for SD Cards, extra batteries, chargers, purell, chapstick, reading glasses, sunglasses, side pocket for water bottle and can attach tripod to the other side. I am thrilled with this bag, I do wish it was in other colors but that is my only complaint.

(For the 250LX.) Very well made and clean looking. There are a few things I wish were different, I’ll start with the things I love because this is still a good bag. 1. I love the amount of space you have. In both the multi-purpose top and camera gear space at the bottom. I was able to fit my Mavic Air, controller, Sony a6300 (body), the small kit lens, a 50mm lens, Rode Videomicro with the deadcat on, portable usb charger, and still had space for an extra lens. And this is just at the bottom. Top part had my MacBook Pro 15in, iPad 9.7, some pens, Nintendo Switch (in a case with games and small accessories), iPad charger (wire and plug), Macbook charger, and some snacks. 2. Aside from the space, I loved the look. Very simple and clean. I didn’t want something that said (hey, I’m a camera bag that’s holding expensive equipment). 3. It wasn’t bulky even with everything in it. One thing about my last bag. It was huge and annoying to take places. This one is perfect for everyday use or just for shoots/daily clogging setup. Now for things I didn’t like. 1. While it did hold a ton of gear, it didn’t have a specific slot for my iPad. It was kinda just either Mac or iPad. However, the top part of the bag did fit the iPad easily in with my switch, but it’s not organized well. 2. While I do like how simple and clean the bag looks, it only comes in white/black. Not solid black. So the white does stand out a bit more than I like, but that might be what you’re looking for. (Especially for hiking). 3. Lastly, the straps. As you know now, it holds a lot, but that brings weight as well. If you carry a lot of gear with you, the straps are quite thin and narrow. While it adds to the minimalist look. They get uncomfortable after a while. If I don’t carry my Mac, it’s not as bad. Just something to keep in mind. (It also doesn’t have a dedicated pen slot. It has slots for like wallet size items, so I just used those. Can also hot glue one and make your own slot. That’s just sometime I like to have lol.) Overall, and wonderful backpack. Especially for the price. 4/5 stars. If it had the slot for the iPad and Pens. Plus slightly wider straps, I would give it a 5.

🛒 Erano anni che cercavo uno zaino da utilizzare durante i miei viaggi. Vediamo quali caratteristiche cercavo, dato che probabilmente saranno le stesse che cercherete anche voi: - Leggerezza, perchè il resto del mio equipaggiamento fotografico è già abbastanza pesante di suo e portarsi appresso un comodino in groppa non è piacevole. - Comodità, perché girare tutto il giorno con uno zaino scomodo fa perdere la voglia di portarselo in giro. - Capienza, perché l'attrezzatura è tanta e non basta mai. Volevo non solo una sezione dove alloggiare la macchina fotografica, lenti ed accessori, ma anche uno spazio vuoto dove metterci qualsiasi altra cosa mi possa servire. - Protezione, sia dagli urti che da eventuali liquidi presenti a terra quando si appoggia lo zaino. - Prezzo, dato che le mie tasche non sono il pozzo di San Patrizio e non avevo intenzione di spendere 250 euro per uno zaino - per quanto buono possa essere. - Design, perché uno zaino a forma di rana mi avrebbe ricordato la mia maestra delle elementari. Anche no. Dopo un po' di ricerche sono incappato in questa marca - Lowepro - che conoscevo solo di sfuggita, avendo visto alcuni dei loro prodotti in certi store fisici nei paraggi. La loro linea di zaini e borse è piuttosto articolata, ma sono riuscito a restringere la scelta tenendo in considerazione i parametri di cui sopra fino a questi Truckee con differenti dimensioni e capienze. 👉 Ho scelto la versione di mezzo in quanto la più piccola mi sembrava decisamente troppo ridotta per i miei scopi; la più grande l'ho inizialmente esclusa per il prezzo riproponendomi di fare il reso qualora necessario. In sintesi, non solo non è stato necessario, ma devo dire che è il migliore zaino semi-fotografico che abbia provato. Proprio il fatto di essere solo parzialmente uno zaino fotografico è secondo me il suo punto di forza. I materiali sono ottimi, le imbottiture degli spallacci sono adeguate e non tagliano le spalle e le fibbie per la regolazione dell'altezza sono ben fatte, abbastanza da non consentire il loro libero scorrimento - cosa secondo me fastidiosissima - quando si indossa lo zaino. Andiamo rapidamente ai pro e contro, dato che ho già scritto abbastanza. Pro: ✔️ Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, se lo trovate in offerta come me è difficile da battere; ✔️ Spazio interno compartimentato 50-50, consentendo non solo di portare con sé la propria attrezzatura, ma anche alcuni effetti personali; ✔️ Retina laterale per bottiglietta o borraccia e dall'altro lato fibbia per ospitare un piccolo cavalletto; ✔️ Tasca rivestita all'interno da materiale morbido per non rigare occhiali o telefono, una grande genialata. Tasca dorsale per ospitare il portatile - nel mio caso un 13 pollici; ✔️ Schienale e spallacci imbottiti e molto comodi, peso contenuto; ✔️ Chiusura di sicurezza nella tasca riservata all'attrezzatura; ✔️ Rivestimento interno in materiale di colore arancione che aumenta la visibilità; ✔️ Base dello zaino ricoperta da materiale simil-pelle, che impedisce allo zaino di bagnarsi alla base. Contro: ❌ "Si può avere nero?" ⚖️ Riassumendo... Lascio allegate alla recensione molte fotografie del prodotto e un breve video di unboxing. Come vedrete, sono riuscito a farci stare tutta la mia attrezzatura, ovvero: - Sony Alpha 7 III; - Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 (montato sulla macchina) con paraluce; - Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 con paraluce; - Samyang 18mm f/2.8 con paraluce (non presente nella foto, perché non lo avevo ancora, ma ci sta essendo piccolo); - N. 2 filtri con scatola portafiltro; - N. 2 batterie di ricambio per la Sony, con il caricabatterie aggiuntivo Neewer; - N. 2 tubi di estensione macro (poi sostituiti dal Samyang 18mm); - Caveria USB Type C; - Pompetta e panni per la pulizia. In sintesi: ci sta tutto il necessario e anche di più. Se non cercate uno zaino puramente fotografico, ma qualcosa che vi permetta di avere ancora un po' di spazio per altro materiale, questa è la scelta che fa per voi. Sono molto contento dell'acquisto che ho fatto, promosso a pieni voti. ⭐ Il giudizio in stelle è riassuntivo della mia valutazione complessiva. Un punteggio di 5 su 5 non significa che il prodotto sia perfetto, ma semplicemente che il rapporto fra la qualità ed il prezzo a cui viene offerto è ottimo. Needed a small lightweight bag with versatility for travelling and this bag fit the specification for fitting under the seat cabin luggage. Primarily a camera bag it can have multiple uses and with the various set-ups I was able to maximise it's uses. On the flight, I used as a back pack for devices and carry on liquids, snacks, etc.. On a day trip it converted to a camera bag with multiple inserts to arrange to suit need; for camera, lenses and essentials for the day, including a bottle pouch. Above all it is lightweight, durable and fits snuggly on my back without digging into my shoulder. Bonus, it also has an additional strap which slots nicely over the carryon suitcase handle, so no need to carry around at the airport. I love this bag.

En la imagen del producto tamaño Grande, aparece una cámara con lente 70-200 que usé como referencia, pero la mía no cabe. Ya que no hay un tamaño mayor, tendré que devolverla.

Hace poco tenía una TAMRAC EVOLUTION 8, era muchísimo mas grande que esta, pero era demasiado vistosa y estorbosa, en el avión meterla debajo del asiento delantero era un drama, la Lowepro Truckee BP 200LX es maravillosa, ciertamente es pequeña pero tiene los espacios necesarios (y trae bastantes de ellos), en ella meto una A7S2 con una lente G de 18-105mm incluyendo un micrófono omnidireccional, también incluyo una INSTA360 TWIN RS, otra lente SAMYANG CINE DE 14mm, disco duro 1TB, una laptop de 14", memorias, cables y hasta unos audífonos inalámbricos, quizá no guste el color mucho de vista pero tiene la ventaja de no parecer una mochila de cámaras lo cual es muy bueno en nuestros días.
