**Q: Is this really green? Cap looks gray. I want to use this under some orange paint, will the colors blend?**
A: I also am about to use an orange base coat... Did this blend well with your orange?

**Q: I have an aluminum truck tool box that has a urethane clear coating, can I scuff up the box, clean it and use this before applying a bedliner coating**
A: If the clear is intact and not peeling I wouldn’t etch... etch primer only adheres properly to bare metal... if using a quality two component bed liner I might spot prime lightly then bedline

**Q: Is a water based or oil based primer best for hi top conversion van with fiberglass roof?**
A: This is for mostly metal. Use the Rustoleum Primer in the “Professional spray can”.

**Q: Will this etching primer work on stainless steel?**
A: Yes

This is a really good primer. If you’re painting bare metal, you need to use this. The etching primer binds to bare metal, giving the paint something to bind to. I use it on anything I paint. Works very well. As far as rattle cans go, rustoleum is my go to. I’ve tried other brands just to see them fail.
