Thrustmaster F/A-18C Hornet HOTAS Grip - Flight Stick Replica for PC

Son is loving the new joystick, especially in DCS helicopters. Yes not cheap, but stuff like this never is and worthwhile.

Fantastic addition to my HOTAS setup. Still have alot of love for the Warthog grip but do not regret buying this one bit. Feels a bit weird for the first hour our so if you're used to the Warthog grip but quickly got used to it and it's actually more ergonomic despite its strange appearance. Don't worry about the top being plastic, it's only that top section and you honestly barely notice it.

I was sceptical about the size of this stick compared to the warthog but I actually prefer this stick. It’s a touch lighter, the layout is less squashed and the buttons make click sounds which I love, highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent and quality design! easy to just plug and play with a few tweaks here and there.

Got this due to the similarities to the new F15 module and it didn't disappoint. Great feel to the stick and buttons although the pickle (red top left) feels really far away to reach. Worth noting that the number of buttons between this and the A10 / F16 stick is the same (19) with many buttons in similar or same place (like the trigger etc) so DCS doesn't know the difference between them. This means you can swap back to other airframes with the A10 / F16 stick without having to rebind buttons all over again :-)

The thumb castle switch had buttons that failed to return to centre. The box arrived with no security seal. Having read other reviews of users experiencing identical problems recently, I can only assume this is a manufacturing fault or (more concerning) I've been sent someone's return. This is not the first time Amazon has done that.

Was labelled as xbox version, but had no issues with it running on a PC. Managed to break my old a10 stick, so opted for this version as I look to repair my other stick.

Where have you been my whole simming life. It's also a work of art.

Parfait. Très précis. Idéal avec Xplane. Un vrai plaisir de faire un palier en planeur dernière un remorqueur. Le confort est bon même après un long moment. C'est un peu cher mais on en a pour son argent. Je trouve qu'on est très proche de la réalité. Du coup je regarde de très près la manette des gaz qui va avec.

Perfetta replica in metallo dello stick FA/18 (e Harrier AV-8B) che uso con DCS ... Già possiedo HOTAS Wartog (Stick F16 / A-10C + Throttle) quindi questo add on è il naturale upgrade. Usabile ovviamente anche con altri Simulatori di volo come Flight Simulator o XPlane 11! manca il controllo del Rudder quindi consiglio una Pedaliera. Qualità del prodotto eccellente

جداً جميلة وخيار لم اندم عليه !! كنت متردد لاني عندي عصا ال warthog وكنت خايف انو ما راح يفرق الا الشكل فقط ! لكن اتفاجاة من من حجمها الكبير الي يساعد في سهوله الحركه والازرار جودتها بطله وملمسها خورافي تستاهل

Incredible grip! Although the real FA18 stick is made of resin, the heavy metal (cast zinc I believe) construction of this stick adds to its believability and conveys the feeling of flying a real fighter jet. Combined with a Moza AB9 FFB base (which works plug and play perfectly), the stick conveys a realistic sense of a heavy fighter stick. It is significantly heavier with heavier button action than Moza's own MH16. I like the MH16 for lighter, more nimble aircraft like the F16, where the lighter aluminium construction and lighter buttons matches the lighter single jet engine design. The FA18 stick is perfect for heavy, dual engine fighters like the FA18, F15 etc, where a heavy duty, large and stiff button design works perfectly. Overall, a fantastic stick and for a great price on Amazon!
