We placed them around our pool. They are not to blast the volume. They provide nice clear sound. For the price you really can’t beat it and the customer service was fantastic. I got these to replace some rock speakers that basically wore out after a decade. These were a very good upgrade. The bass is solid and I like that they are omni-idirectional—I have sound on one side in the pool and sound on the other side on the dock. They get plenty loud and I try not to overdo it. Make sure to bury them to improve the bass as the directions say. I gave four stars on ease of install instead of five because you do have to get out a shovel and hard wire them. They've already survived several South Florida deluges, so good so far on being weatherproof. I power these with a Yamaha RX-V683BL 7.2-Channel MusicCast AV Receiver that I also bought on Amazon. It drives five speakers inside and four outside—two Omni 360s and two small Bose speakers on the patio.

This speaker works perfectly for what I wanted it for and I ended up buying two. I wanted music around my fire pit area which is in the middle of a large garden with some space in between of course. anyhow my two speakers went on either side of the pit inside the garden. They are easily hidden among the all the green from the plants you cant even see them. At first I wasn't to keen on how they sounded but I then dug them more then half way into the ground like its recommended to do and now then just sound so much better I'm shocked.

These are great in ground speakers for the cost. An excellent combination of bass & highs for an outdoor speaker. I have had them in the backyard for 13 years, finally replacing one due to landscaping person accidently tripping over and damaging. They sound great and last forever..

I have them in the desert sun and they are still going strong.
