This is what you need to make authentic stove top kunefe! Negative reviews are from people who lack basic knowledge about use and characteristics of aluminum cookware: 1. Aluminum CANNOT be washed in the dishwasher EVER! If you do, damage is irreversible; must trash the pan 2. Aluminum is NOT NONSTICK and not coated with toxic garbage (you must grease the pan plenty). Before you use them for the first time, after you wash them with warm water and soap, take a paper towel dipped in oil/fat and rub all around. There will be black residue. Make sure to remove it all before you cook in the pan The seller could/should have done a much better job educating people on what to expect from aluminum pans and how to prep it for use.

My husband is Palestinian and LOVES kunafeh. We tried making it in a regular skillet and it wasn’t the same. These are perfect. Perfect size for a single serving and they heated evenly directly on our gas stove. Note to people complaining: YOU CANNOT PUT ALUMINUM PANS IN THE DISHWASHER OR THEY WILL BE UGLY. THESE ARE HANDWASH ONLY!! (Or you will be sad ;).

The product is as advertised, but the packaging is not according to that. They sent it in an envelope. Of course it was damaged but still can be used.

Just know that these 2 pans work so well when using them to make your kanafa. Just perfect! They are super easy to clean as well. Thank you.

This is poorly made and will harm you. It has a dark gray/black residue which is bad for you when you use it. I did everything from vinegar, lemon, hot water scrubbed a lot and still has that residue.

Quality of the pales are good but 1 plate have hole in it.
