Mrs K here. I really love this product. I tossed the sponge that's included and apply it with my fingers, warming it across the pan, and then buff with a sponge of my own. It's definitely buildable, but one swipe gives a nice light-medium coverage that is very natural, but incredibly evening. Layer it for a more full foundation type coverage if you like. It's incredibly easy to blend, has a very natural finish, and doesn't settle into fine lines at all. I like the extra sunscreen protection but would never rely on it; I apply an SPF 50 under everything before leaving the house. But it's a nice extra. The only thing I don't care for is that it screws open and closed, and it's an irritating thread; I wish it popped open. But that's nitpicking. Really great, affordable, effective, pleasant to use complexion product without fragrance or irritation, and especially excellent for mid-day touch ups. I will absolutely keep this one in rotation.

I really love the way this looks on my skin, but I have dry skin so I make sure that I do my skincare first which includes toner, serum, and moisturizer. If I were to apply this without my skincare, I might not look that great, but that goes with every foundation. I didn’t think this would do much, but it can be built up to a good medium coverage without looking cakey. I’m always buying high-end foundations thinking that they will look better on my 45 yr old maturing skin, however, my 23 yr old daughter came over for a visit and said “Mom, try this. It’s pretty good.” Then she showed me a swatch so I could see the consistency and applied some to her cheek. It was creamy and it didn’t have a suncreen odor like a lot of SPF foundations have. I thought it looked really beautiful on her so I decided to order some. I am here to report that I have been using this foundation daily for nearly 2 weeks straight. I think what I like about it the most is the fact that it’s pressed in a compact and makes applying my makeup quick & easy because a girl can get lazy. I don’t even have to bust out my makeup brushes or sponges because it comes with a little spongey that works great 😂 The photo is taken of me with my full skincare on and a generous layer of this Covergirl pressed foundation. I did not use setting powder. But I did apply some highlighter on my upper cheeks and the tip of my nose. Also, I used zero filters. I think it looks smooth & natural. What do you think?? Don’t sleep on this. I highly recommend it and I will re-purchase (probably 2-3 more) when I run out.

This is a wonderfully lightweight and moisturizing foundation! The color I chose matches my skin exactly. It's non-greasy and while it hides any flaws on your skin, it's not thick or visible while wearing. I've gotten rid of my high priced foundations for this new favorite!

I generally use Covergirl products for my foundations, powders, & cover ups; however, until recently, I had not tried this variation. I'm pretty excited, because I am 31 years old & needed something to help with these newly showing wrinkles. My most troublesome area is on my forehead. I consider them fine lines, but there is one in particular that really bothers me. I found that this foundation did a good job of reducing their appearance. It was no magic potion or anything, but a reduction in visibility is a good thing. Not to mention, it has SPF and is actively helping me fight getting more wrinkles! That is a win! I will say that it was slightly darker than similar shades in other Covergirl products I have used, but with a little blending & powder, it worked just fine. I have included photos of me without makeup, with, and many hours later (when I was unable to reapply). I will say that the light varied for the photos, so please take that into consideration. I've been wearing this foundation since I was 15 years old and I'm 31 years old now. This foundation has never let me down. It's the only one I can find that fits my fair skin shade perfectly.

I really love this foundation. I'm extremely fair skinned and it's difficult for me to find foundation that is light enough or doesn't have a yellow undertone. This is perfect! I also like how soft, creamy and dewy it goes on and STAYS that way, without settling into fine lines or emphasizing the negatives. I've read some reviews that say it's too heavy or cakey. I can see how that might be the case if applied with the sponge applicator included in the container. Here's my secret tip that makes it go on flawlessly, lightly, almost "airbrushed" (and you can build more coverage if desired): I take a SOFT makeup brush and moisten it, shaking off any excess water. You want the brush moist, not wet. Then I swirl it lightly in the foundation and apply in circles to each area until blended smoothly. Moisten the brush, shake it out and repeat with the next area. (I usually start with my eyes first, it acts as a primer/concealed/foundation all in one). Doing my whole face this way takes about 3 minutes, and the results are very natural, soft and yet my dark circles, blemishes, etc. are completely covered but no heavy, cakey appearance. So, that's my personal tip to anyone who would like to try it, it might change your mind about this foundation, which I think is really great stuff!

I'm so glad I found this! I've had a lot of trouble over the years finding a foundation that works for me. I'm very (very) pale, but have pronounced redness on my cheeks that needs to be covered/evened out. I've tried the whole gamut of expensive to drug store foundations and it's been tough to find something with a light enough shade that also has good coverage. Plus, I wanted a foundation that worked in both the cold, dry winter and the hot, sweaty summer. I also wanted something that worked on older skin. Sheesh, you'd have thought I was asking for the moon. Over the years, I've found some that were pretty good, but nothing I really wanted to stick to long-term. I happened to pick this foundation up, along with several more expensive brands, when I was in a beauty store last year. When I got around to trying it, I was very pleased that it worked so much better than the expensive ones. (Well, pleased that this worked, not so pleased that I'd spent a small bundle on the others.) This has good coverage and is buildable on the cheeks where I need some extra help. I can just do a quick sweep over my face, or do a more complete look, as needed. In the winter, I can wear it without powder for a more dewy look. In summer, I can do a slight dusting of translucent powder to set it and make it less dewy (ie, sweaty). I've been surprised at how well it stays put in summer even when I do sweat. Other foundations end up just sliding off my face at the slightest hint of moisture, but not Simply Ageless. If I have one complaint, it's that even the lightest shade, Ivory/205, is still a tad darker than I'd like. I wish it came in a shade like Revlon's ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup in Ivory (great color, terrible foundation for me). But, until the day that affordable, custom colors are available, I'll stick with this. (Now that I've found a foundation I like, my big fear is that it will be suddenly discontinued. As a result, I confess that I've been stockpiling a bit. Every time I place an Amazon order and see a good price, I add one or two of these. . . just in case!)

Great coverage. Not too heavy; not too light. Color is natural looking. However; I had to throw away the purchase because it made my eyes water and I had an almost allergic-like reaction to something in the foundation. Sad - because the actual makeup goes on smoothly and isn't overly shiny or completely matte - just right.

Such a beautiful foundation. Blends out beautifully, medium coverage but looks very natural and glory. Feels lightweight. As good as some luxury brands.

I'm 71.... so don't expect miracles😁.....but I also please authentic product. I used to live Avon MagiX foundation but they stopped doing it a few years ago. I have tried many of the usual average price 12 -20 pounds range and also a more top of the range 45 pounds foundation.....which was nice.....but Cover Girl is even better. I'm quite lucky on the wrinkles front, but do have them. This product is light & creamy but not sticky, doesn't sit in wrinkles & easy to put on. I moisturised 10 minutes before, then used a soft brush in circular movements to apply.....It still looked good 5 hours later. If you prefer it thicker, just add more. I ordered the Ivory which is a bit light for me so I just followed with a very light dusting of bronzer powder.

I love this product particularly because I have rediculously sensitive skin and can't use most foundations, but I did not react to this one. One thing I will say is go a shade darker than you would usually because it comess out lighter than the foundation looks in the pan.
