Wakacon is a great company
I had an issue (not related to the product) and Wakacon responded with kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this company and their products.

EDIT: You have to use it correctly
Last month I bought this bag for the first time. I am used to the heavier cloth bags and I have developed a habit of wringing my kava bag like a towl. This bag was not designed for that kind of force, and it tore on me. When that happened a left a pretty scathing review. The seller reached out and offered me a refund. They also sent me a free one to try it out and this time I made sure to squeeze like a squeeze ball, not wring like a towel. How does it perform when you use it right? Fantastically. This bag makes very potent kava because none of the lactones get trapped. When you use a heavy cloth bag over and over the holes in the fibers get clogged up and it's hard to get lactones out and takes forever to strain (thus you get into the habit of wringing it out like it owes you money). This thing let's the water and kava lactones flow freely and holy cow you don't need much kava to get a very potent brew with this thing. I know this is a crazy turnaround from my last review, but I think this is my go-to bag now. Some other things I like about it: the draw string is high quality and the mouth actually opens up wide enough to get some root in there! It's also not bad on the hands.Tl;dr if you buy this be careful with wringing, twisting motions. Just squeeze it. Bula!

My favorite kava bag
I've been using this daily for 2 years. I like the quality and the heavier duty string used. Never have a problem with the bag coming open. (Make sure it's secured though) I do finally have a small tear in it and need to get a new one but i will get this exact one again

!!! THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED !!!
Works better than the cheese cloth I was using. Even comes with a little carrying bag. Gotta strain that root juice!

This mesh is real thin
I like this bag, more than the one I got from kavafied - that one was flimsy, wrinkled quickly and lost its meshing over time. This one is kinda the same - i can tell it won't last a year. DO NOT KNEAD FOR 10+ MINUTES IT WILL MAKE THE GROG TOO STRONG. I bought Wakacon and Fijian Waka from Dua Na Bilo - both strong waka - and I only kneaded about 3-5 minutes to get a strong mixture. there will be a lot of sediment at the bottom if you knead to long which will cause a very heady / heavy mixture and a headache +stomach ache if you drink. knead intuitively and when the mixture is less translucent.

Waka waka
It works. Big mesh bag allows KAVA to be mixed with hands and fingers very well. Mesh is strong and does not tear when compressed like coffee filters... Mesh is very small and traps KAVA root very well. No more upset tummy from oversized KAVA particles! I leave the last KAVA batch in to dry then just add more KAVA to it next time. The mesh bag is that big. PERFECT for KAVA

For the price, I was skeptical
My go-to strainers are normally just hardware store latex paint strainers. This was a bit more than $3, which I normally paid for the paint strainers. I figured I would give this a try. It's a well made, well sewn strainer bag. Seams are high quality and the drawstring at the top is robust. At first, the mesh looks almost too fine. However, within a few minutes of use, it seemed to break-in nicely. The result was a very good wash with very little kava particles left in the drink. Much less stomach upset the following morning. This is not bad for the money.
