Jufran Banana Sauce - Hot 12oz, 2 Pack

I used this to marinate pork butt chunks for philipino bbq skewers and I also brushed it on the meat on the grill. Some recipes I read said you could substitute with regular ketchup but after tasting this sauce I say ABSOLUTELY NOT it is not at all the same, you need this sauce. I don't think it tastes like ketchup at all. We loved it and I will definitely be buying it again.

The product was so old it had jelled and I could not get the sauce out of the bottle.

Love this sauce. We call it banana ketchup. I prefer the regular flavor, but that's been hard to find lately, so I tried the hot variety. It maintains the original yummy flavor, but with more heat/spice. Good stuff!

I'm a real fan of "spicy" banana ketchup and really only buy it for one thing... mac and cheese. Toss some chopped up premium quality hot dog in there and stir in some of this stuff and it's a flavor you will either love or hate. I'm sure the product is good in other things too! I've just never tried them.Three stars because two orders IN A ROW I got bottles that were packed horribly (in a much too large box) and the plastic bottle caps have a tendency to split open when the bottles are jarred hard enough, giving you a delightful (NOT) plastic bag full of red, spicy, goodness... just not in the bottle where it belongs.AMAZON! Are you reading this?!??!?! Glass bottles with liquids in them need to be packed WELL! A big box with a couple of tiny air pillows tossed in there, like an after thought, is NOT going to treat a pair of glass bottles, tightly wrapped in a plastic bag very well. GET IT TOGETHER!
