Nova Nutritions Berberine Plus 1000 mg per Serving (Non-GMO) 120 Capsules

I am diabetic and have struggled with getting my A1C under control for years. I was on several oral medications to help control my blood sugar, but was regularly experiencing sugar highs and lows associated with uncontrolled diabetes. Even my A1C was fluctuating to to the point that my doctor was gong to put me on insulin shots. After extensive research and experimentation with other herbal products to help control my blood sugar I decided to give this a try. Within a few weeks of taking 1 pill 2 times a day, my blood sugar leveled out to near normal range and has stayed there. I have since gone off one medication, and the dose of the other was halved. Typically my fasting blood sugars are mid 80's to low 90's. After meal blood sugars are between mid 120's to mid 130's. Have not exceeded 140 since taking this product. I test 2 times a day, but will sometimes test more just to keep better track of things.Furthermore, I have noticed a drop in inches from my waste. Without much effort to exercise or reduce portions, I have come down 1 pant size with a little room to spare. I've had to get new belts, and in some cases add extra notches to my old belts. I strongly recommend the use of this product by anybody looking to help stabilize blood sugar levels and lose a little weight as a bonus. I will continue to use this product.

I have been using this product now for just under 6 months. It has helped to keep my blood sugar down without using prescription meds. I will keep using this. Great product.

I orginally had bought this for acne. After research I had found that acne can be the result of blood sugar spikes due to sugar intake. I am taking several other supplements along with zinc and I have seen a drastic improvement in my acne. But once I read the reviews, I decided once I received it, to have my dad try it since his blood sugar is any where from 350 to 400 and that is with him on Metformin. Since taking it for two weeks his blood surgar is staying around 190 and on a good day he has had it as low as 140. His doctor was going to start him on Insulin shots on his next visit. He has also lost a small amount of weight. I wish I would have heard of this sooner.*Update: My dads blood sugar is now staying between 110-120. It has not been that low since his pre diabetic days.

I was not sure that this product was really helping me all that much, but recently I was out of town for over two months and had only brought enough Berberine plus for about 3 weeks. I realized after about a week that my joints were bothering me more than normal. I decided to order some more and have it shipped to where I was staying, and by the time it got to me I was very glad that I had ordered it. Within a few days, I could feel my joints feeling better. I have fibromyalgia and inflammation seems to be something that goes along with it. I do not plan on ever running out of this again!

I am only giving it 3 stars b/c I have not been taking it long enough to see a difference. The mg per serving is misleading. You need to take 2 capsules to get the 1000 mg, there are only 60 doses per bottle.

Very good berberine, it seems potent, free from chemicals and pure. Im not sure if it's effective because I haven't tested my blood sugar yet, and I'm also taking metformin, so it'll be hard to tell. But im very happy with the Nova company and I trust their purity. It's also a nice orange color which is a sign of its purity, because I've gotten berberine that was a light orange before. However, color may not affect potency I'm not sure.

My bottle of Berberine Plus arrived as promised. It is replacement for used up first bottle that cut my blood sugar by almost 100 points in two weeks of use! Took two 1000 mg capsules at bedtime and morning sugar went to 120 and stayed down. I am reducing evening insulin 24-hour shot and seeing continuing results!
