Growing and thriving!
I ordered 4 Dwarf Black Everbearing Mulberry Plants in late March of this year and they arrived in early April, two weeks later. The plants were small and about three to five inches in height and looked really healthy, but less than a week after getting them they started to wilt and one by one all four plants died and I was really disappointed. I believe because each plant's root system didn't take since these plants were from cuttings. I contacted the seller and explained what happened and they sent me four bigger, healthier six to eight inch plants with strong big roots. I was very satisfied when I got them on Friday April 18th 2014 right in time for my Mom's birthday. :) I then watered each plant carefully and put them on my fireplace mantle under the skylight in my living so they could be exposed to soft light. After three days of receiving them I planted each plant in a 22 inch resin container outside on Monday April 21st 2014 and they have taken off like beanstalks! Each Dwarf Black Mulberry plant has grown about four to five feet in height in just four and a half months! I'm really impressed and I also see a few Mulberries growing on three of the four plants which I saw today (Tuesday September 2nd 2014) I would definitely recommend these Dwarf Black Everbearing Mulberry plants but be sure if you are receiving a cutting to see if the cuttings have big strong roots otherwise they will not survive. And plant them outside after three or four days of receiving them. Do not expose them to direct sunlight once you receive them because they will go into shock and not survive, only expose them to soft light from a skylight or windowsill. I can't wait to try my Mulberries once they are ripe. I am very happy with my Dwarf Black Everbearing Mulberry Plants. :)

Don't. Just...don't.
I love mulberries & wanted this for myself & the birds. Since they're a fast growing tree I didn't mind that it was in a 4" pot, so it doesn't look at all like the photo. However, it's been struggling. It's lost nearly every leaf it came with. The good news is that it's growing new ones. I'm very hopeful ~ since I live in the southern U.S. ~ it'll re-bound and be strong enough to make through the winter <fingers crossed>. Update: 2015. Unsurprisingly, it died. The 1st one I bought struggled, my chickens kept eating it so when it died I took full responsibility. So this Spring I went ahead and ordered another one. Mistake. What I received wasn't even a 'plant', it had no roots and so there was no chance it would survive being shipped. They, quite literally, just cut a tiny nubbin off a tree, stuck it in a pot and mailed it to me. It wilted, shriveled up and died within 3 days.

Easy to plant and care for
Very easy to plant. Also easy to care for. A great plant for a 5 gallon pot. The shoot was alive and took to the soil with no problem.

Very happy with my purchase, arrived in good shape, and growing without a problem
To make a long story short, my family moved around a lot when I was a kid, and one of the things that stands out clearest in my memory is of a huge mulberry tree that overlooked one of our backyards and driveway when I was maybe eight or nine, I don't really remember. But what I do remember is how AMAZING the mulberries tasted when they ripened. Perfectly sweet, with just a hint of tartness in the beginning, and a delicious aftertaste. Since that house, I've never come across another Mulberry tree, much to my disappointment. When it occurred to me that I could grow my own, I was further disappointed to find that most of the trees for sale were not only too big to fit inside my house (I want something that I can keep in a container, because to be frank, I've moved too many times to trust a landlord NOT to suddenly decide they want to sell the house), but that they also cost upwards of thirty dollars, an amount that I can't really expend on something that might not even work. So, when I found this offer, I was immediately excited by the idea. I can't afford to put in a lot of money, but one thing I DO have in abundance is time and patience. I ordered this plant (Which I have nicknamed 'Nikolai') back in December. It arrived sooner than I expected (only three days after I placed my order), and had my friend not mistaken the package for one of hers, I probably wouldn't have noticed it, and my poor Nikolai would have died. So, the only complaint about the packaging was that it didn't specify that there was a plant inside, and should be opened immediately. But other than that, it arrived in perfect condition, as near as I can tell, carefully wrapped and secured in a little square plastic pot. It was the first plant I've ever ordered online, so I wasn't sure what to expect upon opening its box, but though the stem was curled over a bit on itself (probably something to do with its size rather than how it was packaged) all of the leaves were green, and after a few days of being in a bigger pot and in front of a sunny window, Nikolai started straightening upwards, and grew without a problem. Some of the leaves were missing a few chunks, as though they'd been eaten by insects, but most of those have been shed and replaced by healthier ones by now. It's been two months since I received my plant, and Nikolai has now doubled in height, with plenty of healthy leaves and the start of new ones on the way. As soon as the weather gets warm and stays warm, I'm going to start slowly moving it outside during the daytime, and I'll be sure to update with its progress in another few months, as well as adding pictures. I'm going to be keeping track of Nikolai's growth, taking a few pictures at least every month, and I'll post them here whenever I get the chance, as well as posting about when it starts to produce berries. Summary: Very happy with my purchase!

Disappointed purchase
I bought this plant 4 years back and as of now it didn't even yield a single fruit. It became huge tree and occupied 80 percent of my backyard. Now trying to find a tree remover to remove from my yard. Disappointed purchase. Waste of time in watering all these years thinking that I will get a yield soon.

Fruit is not as big as the picture at all.
I bought this three years ago and it grow very good and tall. I bought this for the fruit, so I ordered it after seeing the picture. The mulberry fruits are turning red but are just 1/3 of the size compared to the picture. A little disappointed. Just ordered the long fruit mulberry plant two weeks ago from Etsy, hopefully it is actually the long fruit type of mulberry.

Growing well
Update 6-4-24 The tree/bush is about 5’ tall. It produced berries for the first time this spring. I wanted to take the berries off so the tree could have another year to divert energy to growth. I did leave one berry on, and when it ripened, it was quite sweet. Original review: I bought the plant in April. It was 4-6” tall with about three leaves on it. My neighbors laughed at it because it was so tiny. Now it is September and the plant is about 3’ tall. The picture is what it looks like now. About a month and a half ago, deer ate all but two leaves. As you can see, the leaves regrew quickly. (I now have wire netting around the tree for its protection.) I live in Tennessee. I planted it with garden soil, but the ground around is mostly clay. I watered every few days (inconsistently because I’m terrible with plants) for probably a few weeks, but haven’t done anything special with it since (i.e., no fertilizer, no extra waterings beyond what rain provides). It’s surviving it’s owner and it’s environment well.

No plant just seeds....
I received a packet of seeds in the mail. There was no soil or 4 inch pot included like advertised.
