I absolutely loved this idea from the movie Star Trek and always wanted to see if Rounded Ice Spheres would work better than cubes. To my belief, they actually did. The spheres stay colder longer, don't water down my drinks as fast, and also only need 1 for a mixed drink.Pros:* Stays colder longer* Only need 1 per drink* Easy to make* Ice Lasts longer* Doesn't water down my drinkCons:* Wish they had a mold for 8 to 16 spheres

A little hard to fill but you'll get the hang of it.If you're looking for a prefect sphere, this is not it. You will have rough edges.Worth the money, I'd buy another one as a gift

Should of checked dimensions :/ a lot smaller than I had hoped.

Pay attention to the details. These make smaller sized ice balls. A little larger than a golf ball.

Neat invention. Love these round ice balls. Nice to be able to change things up. Works great. Packaging is nice and the instructions are very straight forward.

The media could not be loaded.  whenever i am at the bar i am always questioning myself how did they make this sphere ice. i love it even before i start looking around amazon about it. It really makes difference on my drinks, less watery i mean it did melt but not instantly in few minutes. it took time, you can enjoy drinking whiskey while chatting without worrying that your drinks taste water. The product itself is made from a good quality of silicon and make 4 spheres ice. It is dishwasher safe and BPA Free that means you wont taste any plastic on it.Easy to use, first clean both ice mold. then place some water on the bottom part (the one without holes) then place half part ( one with holes) on the top. push down the mold to the flat areas of the mold to get rid of the excessive water. i didn't fill out the mold with water too because it expands when it freezes. This ice cube tea makes big spherical ice rocks perfect for putting in drinks that you don't want to dilute. Because the ice is a ball it melts slower than cubes and provides a long lasting chilling effect.This tray is also easy to use. To make the ice balls you first securely snap the two tray halves together, than fill with water through the four small holes in the top of each circle. You should only fill it most of the way up, not to the very top as the water will expand as it freezes.If you wanted you could add garnish or flavor before snapping the tray halves together. I tried mint ice balls for some Iced tea and peach flavored ice for a drink made with whiskey. Both turned out delicious and looked really cool too.I like to use this ice tray when I want to make drinks a little extra special. Everyone is always impressed with the spherical ice.
