Not your typical Boot Camp program! The Iron Core Boot Camp workout is pure Kettlebells! No sit-ups or push-ups are required. This 25-minute workout will test your mettle as you sweat through 4 rounds of 5 exercises - only setting the kettlebell down when you have completed a full round. Benefits of the Iron Core Boot Camp workout include: Simple, Quick and Effective; Build Endurance and Strength; Burn Fat; Challenge Your Body. Iron Core Boot Camp is for intermediate to advanced students who have mastered the basics and are able to use a challenging size kettlebell. Women should use 8kg or 12 kg (18 or 26 pound) kettlebells and men should use 12kg or 16kg (26 or 35 pound) kettlebells. This DVD assumes you know the kettlebell basics from Kettlebells The Iron Core Way, Volume 1 and Volume 2 and does not include an instructional section or a warm up. Kettlebell Exercises included in this DVD: Single Leg Deadlift Row combination, Alternating Clean, Squat Snatch combination, Tactical Lunge, Alternating Swing, Plus Bonus Ab Circuit. *DVD-R format - may not be compatible with all DVD players. Review: DVD DOESN'T WORK ON COMPUTERS - I bought this DVD after seeing the great reviews however the DVD will not run on a computer...... and I don't own a DVD player as we run our DVD's through a computer. So this DVD is useless for me! Review: Not worth the $$ - I got a good workout with this DVD, however she demonstrates ONE routine, and does it FOUR times. I could have looked up a 5 minute routine on YouTube and played it four times, instead of spending close to $20 on this item.

Good for Days when time is Limited
I actually like this better than I expected. Although the exercises are limited, they are challenging with a heavy bell (I use 12kg). I particularly like the squat/snatch combo. However, I agree with another review that a time clock would have been helpful. Nevertheless, this DVD is great for days when I want to get an intense kettlebell routine in without completing one of my longer routines. Additionally, the video is chaptered well--I throw in the abdominal segment after one of my long cardio sessions with Amy Bento, just for fun :-). It's an easy way to get in a few swings (at least 100) without doing the entire workout. Thumbs up!

Iron Core Bootcamp - great workout
I have been doing kettlebell workouts now for over a month. I started with Lauren Brooks and really enjoy her stuff. I was looking for a little variety, and so I started looking into the Iron Core series. I choose the Boot Camp workout and I am glad I did. This workout consists of 4 sets of the same series of moves. 5 moves total. A single leg deadlift with row combo, alternating cleans, squat and snatch, tactical lunges, and alternating swings. Also an ab section at the end. I love that this is 27 minutes long and packs a great punch. I would now like to get more in this series.

YOU'VE GOT TO ENDURE!
I have mixed feelings about this DVD. It was easy until the 4th set and then I felt the boot from the camp! It is a gym style workout of 5 exercises, 4 sets non-stop except for a 30 second breather inbetween sets. Sounds easy, right? In a way,it was, but by the 4th set, I was tiring and went to a lighter weight. I got a little bored doing the lunges so I modified and did slingshots. She really knows what she's doing, I will say that!

Iron Core Boot Camp
Just got my copy of Iron Core Boot Camp today and, as usual, Sarah Lurie does not disappoint! The circuits seem so simple that you think you won't get a good workout but by the third circuit your heart is pumping and the sweat is pouring. And I only used a 15 pounder! The setting is simple so you can focus on her and her description of each move is very clear and easy to follow. My next purchase will definitely be the Iron Core Warrior set because I know I can count on a good full body workout with these DVD's.

Fun...would have liked different exercises
This workout was a lot of fun. The four sets are comprised of the same 5 exercises. I would have liked it better if the sets had different exercises because I have workout ADD. I really enjoy the ab circuit that has the 3 different swings. I love Lurie's Kettlebell Express DVD and was hoping this would have been similar to that with more challenging exercises. It did get my heart pumping so I guess that's what really counts.
