Review: They work VERY well - I was so impressed I purchased a second set. No more squirrels (and other rodents) running on my roof and jumping off on to my 6 foot wood fences. My neighborhood is over run with squirrels but now I guess they are over visiting my neighbors. Super easy to install using only 2 small screws thru the pre-drilled holes in each strip. Squirrels once used my fences as their freeway. NOT ANY MORE!! It is actually entertaining watching the squirrels try to get around the spike strips even to the point of hanging on sideways on the fence top until they fall off and have to run on the ground.
Review: Squirrels walk right on them with no hesitation - These are a joke. The squirrels walk right on them. I have a vinyl fence and put them on the top of three panels in a row. Watched a squirrel gingerly walk over all 3 panels of the fence that had the spike strips on them. Birds land on them too. Not effective at all.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can they be painted?**
A: I would assume a spray paint would adhere without issue. But try them before you paint them, because I had to return mine, they did not keep the birds away.

**Q: Can the strips be cut or trimmed? I need it a little shorter in length.**
A: Yes. They are just plastic. I modified some for my project. They have cut spaces along the strip.

**Q: Will it keep pigeons out of my platform bird feeder but allow smaller birds?**
A: No, It will keep the smaller birds out also because of the spikes. Maybe if you build a ring around the feeder which will allow the little birds to get close but not allow the bigger birds in that may work.

**Q: Will this help deter rabbits from entering my landscaping and eating my hibiscus plants?**
A: I don’t think so. Rabbits could get over the spikes with ease.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works
*by M***O on September 17, 2024*

i use these on top of the bird feeder to keep squirrels from jumping directly on the top of the feeder then bending down to steal the seeds lol. Squirrels will find a way but these plastic spikes are just spikey enough that they can't just jump on the feeder anymore. They still find ways to hang on to the edge of the feeder but now they cant hang on forever so it's good enough. Birds were scared for about a week but they're coming back.
