Surprisingly Good Speakers.
I bought these to be my rears in my 5.1 setup (Jamo C103 in the front), but decided to try them on my desk first. I've run Klipsch Quintet and RB-10, Jamo S801, and Jamo S803s on my desk before hooked up to a Creative X7 USB DAC.BAR NONE THESE WERE BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM. I'm not saying they're perfect, but they are substantially more clear and defined than any of my previous speakers. They favor the high end like most Jamos. However, they have a clarity which is shocking for the price. To put this in perspective, the difference between the C91 II and the S803 detail was like this: With the S803 you heard someone hit what you think is a triangle in the song. With the C91 II you hear someone hit the triangle, listen to the sound gently fade, and know that the musician with the triangle was sitting behind the musician with the guitar. I have a game room with 5.1 that I will be replacing the S803s with these as my mains. They're just that much better.Bass is good for a 4 inch speaker. However, it's a 4 inch speaker. Don't expect miracles. They're rear ported so don't put them up against a wall...not that you should do that with really any speaker.Sound stage was pretty good. Keep the tweeter at about ear height for the best clarity. The crossover won't make GR-Research happy, but it's pretty substantial for a speaker of this size. It's literally twice the size of the crossover in the S801.Bottom line: It's bargain for the price that provides very detailed highs and mids, with good lows.

who knew??
well I was kind of reluctant to purchase these speakers because of the 4" woofer, always had at least a 6" woofer when I purchase a bookshelf. So I purchased them anyway because of all the hype, out of the box they were satisfying but I thought they might blow me away...But I let em run off and on for a week and these started to open up,( now I'm close to being blown away ). Such clearity and nice sound stage, where did that Bass come from?? And now into my secound week and YES now I'm blown away!! Very nice low end great mids and that tweeter OH man that tweeter is so smooth. Did I mention that I was 70 yrs old and been around music for 50 yrs?? oh ok well there it is. Lets just say if your on the fence don't be,purchase these and be patient the rewards will follow. Also i'd like to reccomend that being a 6 ohm speaker you should use a 12 awg wire. ok thats it! I am now a happy camper. see ya!!

Impressive Little White Wonders
Have never heard these prior to purchasing them, very satisfied with performance. Definitely a v shaped sounding speakers with articulate silk dome tweeter and punchy bass for such a small package! Perfect for near field little stage on desktop.

Great sounding speaker if you get a good pair
This speaker sounds incredible for the price. Very natural sounding, very smooth and nicely rolled off on the high end. I would have rated 4 or 5 stars. I almost didn't notice that one speaker was bad, as it only became apparent on a few songs that have specific frequencies. So if you buy here, be sure to play a bass frequency sweep to ensure yours are not blown and can play all frequencies without ugly popping noises.

Great speaker
I didn't keep it bc I liked the kef q150 more. But the Kefs are $150 more! If you don't want to spend $350 these are the ones to get. The larger c93 might be closer to the kefs but I didn't want to audition another speaker.

Just really happy.
I have these on a desk with a SMSL SA100 Amp and an E-10 DAC. Lovely set up, these sound great and I am sure they will sound even better when they are broken in. I will report back later. Less than 400 bucks. Life is good.

Decent small speakers
The style was as important to me than sound quality. I am done buying large black box speakers because speakers are as much furniture as they are a source of sound. For their size!!! they are decent, They are obviously limited by their components. I used them in my living room on my main stereo 2 channel and they were ok. I experimented on a desk top setup, replacing (temporary) my Micca RB42's. The Micca's win easily in this setup. I love my Micca's. The Jamos seemed congested, just blah near field. They need space and power. For a small listening area or bedroom, they'll do. At $200, a decent speaker
