Wow actually great but im seeing some odd reviews ...
Ok the holster over all is great , i got a mag holder in the same color and they one match perfectly and the mag holder after a few days of work broke in amazing as well as a few range trips usimg it , the holster its self dose have a break in period , I have seen one peraon say it had an hour break in , no it requiers some real break in , its a leather holster that should be expected , also I say a individual say its " too small for a glock 19" no i think they maybe are not used to leather good but it really dose need to be broken in , I advise clearing your weapon and conditioning the holster then just draw and re holster for 30 min , ware it around the house work out ect repeat you want the holster to mold to ur body as well as break some of the fibers , if you are not used to drawing from leather you need to have a very deliberate stroke up straight ita not as forgiving as kydex hopfuly this helps , its an amazing holster for the price truly is

Tight is good but geeez.
I've bought five 1791 items. This was my first holster. The mag pouches were tight but that was okay. I bought this holster for my glock and another for my Kimber 1911. They were so tight when they arrived the weapons actually got stuck in the holsters. They caution about this in the instructions so it wasn't unexpected. I've had them for over a month now doing what was recommended to loosen them with little luck. It wasn't until I ran them under the faucet, put the weapons in ziploc bags, and let them sit in the holsters until they dried that they loosened up a bit. I'm sure over time they will break in, but have no illusions, you can't carry out of the package unless you aren't concerned about being able to draw the weapon or draw it quickly. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. All the other qualities of these products are great.

UPDATE: EXCELLENT, best holster I've ever bought!
Update: I've now obtained a second one and just ordered a third because of the unbeatable (possibly unmatched) quality I see in this product. It is definitely unmatched for the price. DO NOT BE TURNED AWAY BY THE WHINING REGARDING THE ALLEGED DIFFICULTY BREAKING IN THE HOLSTER! Both holsters I obtained required mere hours to break in - the second literally within 1 hour. All I did for the second was spray some "Quick Draw" holster treatment into the holster, holstered the gun, and it was ready to use the very day I got it. Be sure to get the correct one for your firearm, and you shouldn't have any problem at all. (end of update) ... As with many gun owners, I've gone through the frustrating and ultimately expensive process of searching for the "perfect" holster. I have a large box full of holsters that I bought and ended up not using. Since Amazon frowns upon mentioning competing products I will refrain from identifying the other manufacturers except to say they represent all the major producers of OWB holsters. This 1791 holster is superior to them all. The quality is impeccable. The workmanship is precise and artfully done. The leather selection is top-notch and thicker than other manufacturers where thickness really counts. It also seems to hug the waist better than others, perhaps because its quality, thick leather doesn't droop or become overly stretched as can happen with lesser products. Basically, it is the best leather holster I've ever bought, and I've bought a LOT of OWB leather holsters. I much prefer leather due to scratches non-leather holsters have caused to a couple of my handguns and the comfort of pliable leather vs rigid plastic. Plus, I just don't think a gun feels "at home" in a piece of plastic. Since it is a relatively new company, the public isn't really aware of 1791 Gunleather's superior products. I, in fact, had never heard of them and accidentally discovered their existence when I recently purchased a holster for a Glock 23. It was one of a couple of holsters I thought I might like that came up in the Amazon search. It wasn't priced to break my pocketbook, and looked very well made. So, I figured I'd try it out. WOW! From the moment I opened the package and was bathed in the smell of leather I knew I had made a good purchase. I takes a little breaking in, and they provide instructions on how to do so. I, instead, simply pushed my gun into the holster and left it in my truck's center console the first day I used it in the hot south Texas summer weather while working in an office building that doesn't allow handgun carry. I guess the natural forces of summer heat with the gun holstered did the trick. It fits PERFECTLY - not too loose, not too snug, and hasn't loosened beyond a perfect fit since. Don't let folks who don't know about how to break in leather holsters turn you away. A leather holster SHOULD initially be very snug even to the point of possibly being difficult to insert the gun because all leather holsters will loosen up. Buy from 1791 Gunleather. You'll not regret it. I was so impressed that I'm now buying additional 1791 holsters for other handguns I regularly carry. They will be my holster of choice for every handgun, and my past holsters of choice will be tossed in the discarded holster box as secondary backups.

Needs to be formed for Gun, but easy to do
Gun fits like a glove....when you get it wrap your gun in wax paper (please make sure gun is empty as you will have to force it in the holster!) force the gun into the holster, the wax paper will let you do this. Let it sit in the holster for a few days, removing and inserting a few times. After that it will form around your gun an work perfectly

Well made but tight!!!
First off this is a nice holster. It’s very well made. It’s not the best quality leather though. It’s extremely stiff and the fit is ridiculously tight. I’ve had it a few weeks now and am still having to triple bag my gun and let it sit for long long periods of time to even remotely get it broken in. I would probably go ahead and spend a little more on a galco or something with a higher quality leather. I got this for everyday carry and am not using right now because I do not feel confident enough that I could get it out in a pinch if needed. I also bought the matching magazine holder and same thing. Had to double bag my mag to get it semi broken in.

Works Well For Shadow Systems MR920
The Glock 19 size works well for the shadow systems MR920 w/ threaded barrel. The open bottom accommodates the threaded barrel perfectly. It is TIGHT at first, but follow their instructions and it loosens up nicely to conform to your specific firearm. Great craftsmanship and value for the price
