A: There are YouTube videos on that.  One video noted the potentiality of damaging the wiring in getting the originals off.

I've been an audiophile for 40 years and spent tens of thousands on equipment. I got the KSC75s for 13 dollars and bought the Parts Express cheepo's (7.00) for the head band, which snaps right on. 

I have a pair of Vmoda Crossfire 100s that sold for 250.00 that sound better but not 10 times better.
