As a proud owner of a full grown German Shepherd with anxiety issues, I’ve gone through several back seat extenders for dogs, but none have impressed me like this one. I originally bought it to solve a few problems I encountered with previous extenders: many would bend or fold under the weight of my dog, trapping him in a way that essentially turned the car seat into a hammock. This caused my dog to feel unsupported and anxious, which was exactly the opposite of what I needed.I was looking for something sturdy, supportive, and durable for my large dogs (my Shepherd weighs between 80–90 lbs). After years of use, I’m happy to say that this Back Seat Extender has held up incredibly well. It’s still just as sturdy as the day I got it. The bottom is thick and supportive enough that my dog no longer feels as uneasy or stressed out during trips. The platform is solid, which gives my German Shepherd the space and comfort he needs.Another thing worth mentioning is that I have a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback, and this extender fits perfectly. It was incredibly easy to install and fits into the backseat without any issues, making it a seamless addition to my car. This has been such a great upgrade for car rides with bigger dogs. It feels very sturdy and secure, and the hard bottom makes a huge difference in comfort and support. My dogs actually seem more relaxed because they have a stable space instead of trying to balance on the seats.It was easy to assemble and just as easy to take down when needed, which makes it really practical. I was especially impressed that it can comfortably hold three large breed dogs around 110 pounds each, so it clearly handles weight well without sagging. Overall it feels well made, dependable, and perfect for anyone traveling with multiple dogs.

I've only had this a few days and used it twice. I got it for a new Acura MDX and the Large size is a good fit. Relatively easy to install, and having now installed and removed it once, I'm sure it will become very quick and easy to do. Seems well made and definitely kept the car cleaner and the dogs (two 55lb and 70 lb) in the middle seat comfortably. Better for my aging girls than trying to keep their footing in the cargo area. Only reason for 4 stars was that I had to make 3 attempts before I got this with lots of back and forth with Amazon to cancel the first two attempts after the deliveries got lost, and Amazon telling me I had to return items I never received.

This is an amazing product! I’ve had it for about a month it’s perfect in the back of my car you can tighten the straps around the headrest so that it’s smooth and not bubbled up. You can brush dog fur hair out without it sticking to any thing in your car. And it is waterproof. It looks great I got the black one with the gray pad.The floor is solid and wide fitting to the back of the front seats. And then there’s a removable padded quilted blanket that can be washed. I couldn’t say enough wonderful things . And you can also fit the dog seatbelt on through a slot in the bottom of the seat cover. That was perfect for me. My dog loves it I love it it’s great!

My dogs love this! Fits in my Subaru crosstrek and it’s very sturdy. It can be a little slippery but we have another cushion that goes over it and it prevents my dogs from slipping. Easy install, very easy to clean and worth the $

I have really enjoyed this back seat extender and cover for my car. It is so nice to have the extra space, great for long trips. I usually keep it in my car just to load groceries on top of too. Keeps my leather seats protected, and stays in place. I have washed it in the machine on gentle and its held up great, air dry. The boards inside have a little cushion, and they are easy to take out. Not too bulky, great value for the money.

Very easy to install! Worked great for dogs but not great for kids. My dog was much more comfortable on our long journey and it kept him from leaning into the front seat.

Using in a 2017 double cab ram 1500, so smaller than a crew cab but still the regular opening doors. If is not quite wide enough for the back seat of a full size truck (does quite reach properly across my back seat), but all the full size truck versions of these were slightly too deep to fit between my back seat and the rear of the front seats. This one is good for the depth in a full size quad/double cab (depending on what your manufacturer calls them), it fits well between the front and back seats, but is a bit too narrow across the rear seats.Has held up very well though with my 100lb dog on long road trips though. Not perfectly water proof though, I had a drink leak in my back seat all over it, and it did leak through and soak into my seat, but overall it's still a great product. Easy to set up.

We love the product, but two of the zippers have broken with very little use. When our puppy tried to climb up on the end flaps, it pulled the zippers apart at the top and now they aren't able to be zipped up. She was tied to her harness with the tether strap.
