Better than a Benchmade bug out
One of my favorite knives I keep it in my pocket while creek walking and swimming. If I lose it I’m only out $25. The knife is light weight and medium duty. Don’t baton fire wood with it. The pointy blade is good for gutting fish and animals. The blade holds an edge ok but sharpens easily on a stone. I would give the build quality and durability of the knife 4stars. My blade has a little play in it after 5 years of use. It still functions fine but I bought another one just in case it is discontinued

This is a great small and light weight knife
I own a few small pocket knives and I really like this one when i don't need to make a statement with my knife. It has a deep pocket clip so you can wear it with any type of pants/shorts and it's barely noticable in your pocket. It's smaller than your average pocket knife, but not too small where you can't easily hold it and use if effectively. It has a carabiner clip so if you don't want to wear it in your pocket, you can connect the carabiner to your key chain and put it in your pocket or in your bag. It's a small knife, but not too small for a guy like me who has average sized hands. There is no thumb stud and because it's a small knife, I like that. Instead, there's a groove on the side of the blade that your thumb can push and it opens the blade nicely with one hand. I think that if there was a thumb stud, it might make it awkward to open the knife because it's a bit smaller than your average knife. The carabiner at the end of the handle also acts as a bottle opener, which is great. But there are times when I don't think it's necessary because sometimes when it's in my pocket, my hand hits the carabiner and it's a little annoying. The good thing is that it works when you need to open beer bottles, so I like that part! It's a nice feature, but i think it would be pretty cool if it just had a regular handle too...oh well! The carbon fiber on the handle is cool and it makes for a nice looking knife. I've received compliments about this knife, which I never did with any other knives that I've carried. It's very light weight and it was sharp right out of the box. It feels like a really solid knife that is comfortable to use. Closing it can be a little tricky when you do it one-handed. When you push the frame lock in with your thumb and push the blade down, your thumb is very close to the blade because there is no gap there, so you just have to get the hang of closing it in a way where you push the frame lock and move your thumb out of the way. The only issue I found was when I received mine, the clip was very tight and I had to use 2 hands to get it to clip onto my pocket. Since I really like the knife and wanted to be able to clip it on my pocket without using 2 hands, I found a way to solve that problem - take a piece of paper and fold it a bunch of times and then place it under the clip so it expands the tight clip. If you don't want it to be too loose, don't fold the paper so much. Set the folded paper under the clip and leave it over night. The next morning, you should have a clip that works better on your pocket. if it's still not loose enough, leave the paper under the clip for longer and maybe fold the paper more so it stretches the clip more. All in all, this is a great small knife that I would recommend if you're a guy like me who likes to carry a knife, but doesn't need a fancy, expensive and large knife when I'm just doing regular stuff and hanging out with my family.

Great little knife for the money
This is a great little knife for the money. Know what you're getting here. Kershaw is Zai's budget line of knifes. They are made well, but don't use the high end materials that you would find, for example, in Kai's higher end line (Zero Tolerance). You're not going to get super steel or carbon fiber at this price. But for under $25, this is a nice little knife. The carabiner is a convenient way to clip the knife onto a pack, belt loop, or whatever. The scales are G10 with a thin carbon fiber layer on top. They look great. The locking mechanism is basically a frame lock, although it's a little unorthodox in that the lock bar is cut out inside the frame rather than going up all the way to the edge of the frame. This makes the knife a little more trouble to close, but it's not really a big deal. Unlike the previous reviewer, mine has no issues with lock-up. Lock up is a solid 70% (see photo below); this knife isn't going to close by accident. The pivot uses what look like nylotron washers - smooth, but not something you can flip open or shut. I bought this knife because I liked the size. I plan on throwing it in my truck. I like that the blade is small enough not to get me into trouble if I forget to remove it before driving into the People's Republic of Seattle. The steel is nothing special, but it takes me just a minute or two to sharpen, and for $25 if it wears out, I'll just buy another one.

Sharp! (see what I did there ;)
This was the sharpest pocket knife out of the box I've ever purchased. I love the color and it is a real eye catcher. It is well finished and sturdy. Solid action when opening and locks firmly. Easy to close and has two clips for carrying. Be careful of the blade as it is very sharp. Great little everyday carry knife that is a conversation starter.

Totally worth it
For the cost, you can’t beat it. The knife works great. In fact I liked it so muchI’ve bought two of them to have in different places. Highly recommend.

Very lightweight. Ergos are not great
A okay little lightweight knife for the price. A little smaller than I was expecting, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Not too big while still being large enough to be useful. The blade shape with the low point is great for draw cuts and pierces well. Lockup feels secure Opening and closing the knife one-handed is a bit fiddly and takes some getting used to. Without any proper thumb studs, one has to kind of press into the groove in the blade and lift it open slowly. The detent feels a little strong to flick it open, and the handle is cramped enough that I feel like I would have cut the inside of my palm with the tip of the blade if I tried. Closing the knife one-handed is also somewhat difficult. The frame-lock is very narrow and you really have to push down all the way in just the right spot to close it. All of this is effectively right-hand only. If you are a lefty, this is probably not for you. The handle is just long enough that all my fingers can grip the handle without my pinky falling off the back, but with no finger guard or choil of any kind, it feels like there is very little stopping one's fingers from sliding up onto the blade if your hand slips. The clip seems like a nice feature, but in practice it was not that useful to me. The knife feels just a bit on the big side to have on a keychain, but may be useful for hanging off of a tool belt or a backpack or the like when hiking. Also, the wire of the catch protrudes outwards and creates a slight hot spot against my palm when holding it. It also gets in the way of the pocket clip somewhat. I'm a big fan of most Kershaws, but this one wasn't a winner for me. For something lightweight but large enough to be useful, I would recommend a flipper like the Fraxion or Skyline.
