Herb Pharm Original Salve with Comfrey and St. John's Wort, 24 Grams

I was scheduled for a robotic hysterectomy that ended up being much more complicated & required emergency open surgery that took nearly 5 hours. The recovery from that was brutal, and a few months out, there are still some days I experience the painful aching sensation on my abdomen as it heals. This one product has been an absolute god-send, helping to ease and numb that discomfort, and is now a staple in my home. It alleviates pain, soothes burns and cuts, and helps with healing and diminishing closed wounds, bruises and scars. I love that the ingredients are all natural, and I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic product. I recently had a rash that was seriously inflamed. I tried several things to reduce the inflammation, but everything I tried made it worse until I bought this. It was so bad that if I lightly brushed the area, it felt like I was being cut by razor blades, and the rash only got more aggravated and more inflamed. The first time I used it, it provided instant relief. After applying it several times a day for two days, the rash was not gone but the inflammation was completely gone, allowing the rash to heal on its own after that. The tin the salve came in is pretty small, but the salve is pretty powerful. I only used about 1/8th of the tin to resolve my issue with my inflammation. Well worth the price I paid!

My son had a bug bite that kept growing and started to get infected. We teied neospirin, drawing salve and garlic honey. The garlic honey worked okay but it flared up again. I didnt realize how many awesome things were in this salve when i bought it. It worked GREAT! After applying it just 3 times the bites are almoat gone.

I ordered this for my teenage son when he sprained his ankle during football. It worked fast and he was able to keep playing and recovered in days.

Smaller than pictured and hard to open container. I prefer other previously purchased brands over this one.

Smell is ok and it works pretty good on sore areas

I have extremely painful chemical burns on my face due to the chemotherapy for skin problems that I am undergoing; presently the slightest touch from anything on my skin is very painful. I tried other calendula applications but immediately washed them off due to the pain/burning they caused. However "Original Salve" did not irritate my skin and helped greatly to reduce the pain the chemotherapy caused burns were causing. I have just ordered more of this "Original Salve" so I will not run out of it. I am suspicious that this salve is also speeding my healing process. My only complaint would be the cost vs. quantity.

I have used this for years. It does say that you should not use it on open wounds, however when I used it it was after surgery and while I did wait for the wounds to close up some...they may not have been totally healed. My Doctors were impressed at how well I healed. I had a lot of surgery but the scars could have been worse...in places there is not any sign of the surgery. It can be used on any type of wound such as I have had several moles removed. Once there it has healed some, I have used Herb Pharm Salve and you can hardly tell on some and can't tell at all on others. Great healing product as I have found all of Herb Pharm products to be.
