Featuring a soft, neoprene-like Hydroprene shell and lightweight foam, it provides comfortable buoyancy while allowing natural movement. Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles ensure a secure, ride-resistant fit, complemented by a top rescue handle for quick grabs. Durable, quick-dry materials and high-visibility colors make it ideal for pools, boats, and beach days, delivering trusted safety with effortless style. ## Description Give your infant a safe, secure start on the water with the STEARNS Puddle Jumper Infant Hydroprene Life Jacket — a US Coast Guard–approved personal flotation device specifically shaped for babies and toddlers under 30 lbs. Engineered for boating, pool play, beach days and supervised water activities, the Puddle Jumper combines reliable buoyancy with a soft, flexible Hydroprene shell so your child stays supported without feeling restricted. The vest’s ergonomic design places buoyancy where it’s needed while allowing natural arm and leg movement, helping little ones play and splash comfortably. A lined crotch strap and adjustable side straps deliver a snug, stable fit that resists riding up, while the quick-release buckles make it easy for parents to put on and remove in seconds. A handy top rescue handle gives caregivers a secure grab when you need to move an infant out of the water quickly and confidently. Rugged, quick-dry construction stands up to sun, sand and salt, and the bright, high-visibility colorways make it easy to spot your child in the water. This Puddle Jumper is USCG-approved for use on boats and USA waters; always follow the included sizing and safety instructions and provide close adult supervision — a life jacket is a flotation aid, not a substitute for adult watchfulness. ## Features - USCG-APPROVED FOR INFANTS (UP TO 30 LBS) — Certified personal flotation device designed and tested for safe, reliable buoyancy in children under 30 pounds. - SOFT HYDROPRENE CONSTRUCTION — Flexible, neoprene-like shell with lightweight foam provides comfortable buoyancy and freedom of movement for natural play and swimming. - SECURE FIT & EASY ON/OFF — Lined crotch strap, adjustable side straps and quick-release buckles deliver a snug, ride-resistant fit that’s fast to put on and remove. - RESCUE HANDLE & WATER-READY DURABILITY — Built-in top handle allows quick, confident grabs; quick-dry materials resist wear from sun, pool chemicals and saltwater. - IDEAL FOR POOLS, BOATS & BEACH DAYS — High-visibility color for easy spotting and USCG approval for boating, personal watercraft and supervised water activities; always supervise children in or near water. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00EVIPF7K | | Additional Features | Adjustable | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #298,597 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #474 in Life Jackets & Vests | | Brand Name | STEARNS | | Closure Type | Buckle | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (3,357) | | Fit Type | Custom | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00044411006886 | | Included Components | Personal Flotation Device | | Item Type Name | Stearns 2000013889 PFD 5402 Hydro Infant Blue | | Lining Description | Neoprene | | Manufacturer | Coleman | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2000013889 | | Material Type | Hydroprene | | Model Number | 2000037886 | | Outer Material | Neoprene | | Personal Flotation Device Type | Life Jacket | | Size | Up to 30lbs | | Strap Type | Adjustable, leg strap | | UPC | 044411006886 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** STEARNS - **Color:** Blue - **Material:** Hydroprene - **Size:** Up to 30lbs ## Images ![STEARNS Puddle Jumper Infant Hydroprene Life Jacket, Kids Life Vest Supports Under 30 Pounds - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71h0GivZi1L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Stearns Infant Hydroprene - COASION Bendable Flexible Polarized Newborn Baby Sunglasses with Strap for Infant Boys Girls Age 0-12 Months CA8042 - Pampers Swim Diapers - Splashers - Size 2-3, 20 Count, Gap-Free Disposable Baby Swimming Pants --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14248483-stearns-puddle-jumper-infant-hydroprene-life-jacket-kids-life-vest](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14248483-stearns-puddle-jumper-infant-hydroprene-life-jacket-kids-life-vest) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
