Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Unfiltered, 33.8 Fl Oz (1L)

Update Jan 2026: I decided to purchase again. But this time before pouring it into my bottle I shaked it well. And now I can see that it was actually unfiltered. If you keep it untouched for a week the sediment will settle and the oil will be much clearer. However, I like it unfiltered with those particles flowing inside, that makes it taste much better. But I need to mention that the can says it's 2024-2025 harvest. So it's not the fresh one yet. Update2 Sep 2025: After a couple of days oil in my bottle cleared. I'm not sure what it means. Oil from the previous purchase was never like this - it would become clear within several hours. However, the taste is good like it was a year ago. Therefore, I keep 5 stars. Update Sep 2025: After the last negative review I decided to give this oil a chance and buy it again. I got it a few days ago. I'm happy to inform everyone that the oil quality is back. It came unfiltered as it was supposed to be. I immediately felt the taste which is great. I'm glad that the company fixed the issue with their oil and returned to make real unfiltered one. The new picture is attached. Update Apr 2025: I ordered this oil again in Mar 2025. It came very different. The oil is filtered now and it tastes like regular refined olive oil. I include the picture where you can see the difference from a year ago and now. It was greenish and thick. The taste was rich and vibrant. I could literally taste olives in it. Now it's just a regular yellowish olive oil that is completely clear. I'm very disappointed. Original review Apr 2024: This is the best olive oil. It's unfiltered therefore its more flavourful. Since it's unfiltered it's cloudy and this is perfectly natural. I used to buy this oil in a bottle with "organic" label. But it became way too expensive. This one isn't "organic" but it's seems exactly the same. The price is the right one.

I cook and bake extensively, an am an avid sourdough baker. Unfiltered olive oil is a must have for me, not only for cooking and baking, but for maintaining my extensive cast iron cookware and clay baker collections. After experiencing quality concerns with the oil brand I had been using, I tried this Paesanol Extra Virgin Unfiltered Oil Olive. It did not disappoint, and has exceeded all of my expectations. A wonderful consistency, flavor, and aroma. The pour opening on the lid allows for easy transfer to an olive oil cruet or condiment dispenser. The 101.4 fl oz container is an incredible value, too. I highly recommend this product.

I like spicier and punchier olive oil that burns the back of your throat. This isn’t that. But it does have a beautiful green color and is nice for low heat sautéing or for using in marinades, sauces, and dressings. I’m not likely to buy it again and will continue my search, probably with PDO/DOP Italian or Greek oils, but I’m not mad about my purchase at all. I’d call it ‘serviceable’ but far from spectacular.

Paesanol Extra Virgin Organic Unfiltered Olive Oil is the Best. It's Dark Green, the way it should be. Peppery Taste. I use it only on Salads, Pasta and Pizza. I use Partanna Smooth for Cooking. Love those Sicilian Olives.

The best olive oil available, We ave been to Italy 3 times and feel in love with cold pressed, unfiltered Olive Oil. I'm pretty sure we go through a bottle every 2 months. We use ours for salad dressings, bread dipping, drizzling on almost everything drizzable, and sautéing. We have basically replaced butter with this olive oil. When visiting family or friends, we bring a bottle of this olive oil verses a bottle of wine. Buon appetite!

The cook in the family relies on this oil. It is the best at a reasonable price.

ここ数年愛用しています。 少々お高く感じますが、 ノンフィルターではないEXバージンオイルの高価な小瓶を スーパーで購入するよりも、お買い得感があります。 フルーティなのに爽やかで、心地よい苦みもあり、 カンパーニュ等の甘みの少ないパンに、 しみ込ませるようにたっぷりつけて食べるととてもおいしい☆ （一緒につける塩は、カマルグのぺルルドセルが好きです） ただし収穫期を逃すと、 酸化が進み別物のようになったオイルが届けられることがあり、 そこがちょっと残念。 今回（２月中旬）購入したものは、 均一なグリーンで澱もなく、 久しぶりにおいしくいただきました。

コスパがいいと思いました。

イタリア産のオリーブオイルでたっぷり入っていています。 味も香りもよく、生食も出来ますが、炒めたりする時などほとんど使っています。 遮光ガラス瓶入りなので変質の心配もありません。 このオイルがメインだったので、在庫なしが続いているのが残念です。

驚くことにオリーブっぽさが、全くない。単なる油。味無し、香り無し。unfilteredと大書されているわりには、澱もない。瓶の底など綺麗なものである。 例えば、調理用に使っているボスコのエキストラバージン（名称だけ）の方がまだしもオリーブオイルっぽい。同じボスコのプレミアムエキストラバージン（こちらは本物らしい）には、完全に負けている。それでいて、賞味期限は半年後。値段は高い。敢えてこれを選ぶ理由が見つからないのだが。。。 ロットによって、味が違うのだろうか。それとも、季節的な要因とか。裏の日本語ラベルを剥がしてみると、「2021/2022何とか」と書いてあったが、２年くらい前の製造なのか。で、B.B.D. 2024.05.17だそうな。う～ん。古すぎでは。 それならば、普通にボスコを買っておいた方が確実に思える（味の素や日清オイリオでもよいが）。安いし、賞味期限も長い。このオリーブオイルも、１年くらい前にイタリアで買っておけば、美味しかったのかもしれない。
