Japanese snack sweets Surprised Small Pack W Assortment Dagashi Oyatsu

Came a few days earlier than expected. Got nine pieces of candy/ small snacks in the bag. They looked cute, I'm not really one for such things- but it was nice. All are short, yet they are two taller ones. Only tasted three so far. One of the tall ones is like a puffy cheese stick- although it was crumbled, it tasted good- I think it was also supposed to be spicy but it's not at that level. The first one I tried was the small packet that had some popcorn looking chips, the taste is so familiar from my childhood even though I can't pinpoint exactly what the flavor is. Lastly was the hard soda candy and it was good, luckily not the popping kind. Excited to try the rest, was tempted to eat everything but thought against it. Hopefully buy a box or so of others next time. Thank you.

Awesome pack of a variety of tasty treats! It includes nine treats, and the price I paid was $3.48 with free shipping, which is a great deal, especially since it was shipped from overseas. I always enjoy trying different dagashi, and this one didn't disappoint. It had some items which I was familiar with, like the umaibo which are corn sticks similar to cheese puffs, but also some I haven't tried. Even if I don't enjoy the taste of a particular item, I always enjoy the experience of trying something new, and in this case, I enjoyed the taste of everything. The snacks arrived within the estimated time and were well-packaged and fresh, and I'll definitely be purchasing again.

I really liked this package. It was my first candy/snack package(from a different country)and because I didn't want to try so many snacks and candy, this was perfect. The snacks were very interesting and one of my favorites was the strawberry gum. Although, I was a little nervous to try the jelly. It was a really fun experience to try different things from a different country. I will definitely be purchasing another Japanese candy/snack box!they are so much fun! I definitely recommend this one is you're just looking for something small. And I thought the pricing was great!

I believe I ordered in March. It was supposed to arrive in April. It got here on July 6th. Not sure if this would happen without the pandemic going on but I do see a lot of people saying it took a long time to get to them. It is truely shipped straight from Japan which is really cool. Having said that I believe it is worth the $4.95 I spent on it. However the items you get you might be able to get cheaper at an Asian market. However it was fun to sample different items without buying too much of anything one thing. There was nothing we didn't like is this. I would recommend it. Beware though, it is small. We got nine items but one of the items was 2 MMs in a mini package. One of them was a hard candy and the other one is powdery candy similar to Tums antacid but tastier. The 2 crisp sticks were amazing! We got a tablespoon of grape Jell-O and a single marshmallow with chocolate filling, both were really good. It was a tiny bag of sugar crystals that tasted like rock candy. Compared to American candies everything looked sample size. They aren't samples, they are just that size. You can eat everything in one sitting. Buy it, try it and don't worry about it getting there just relax and I'll get there when it gets there.

My 5 year old niece and I decided to try Japanese snacks for the fun of it. This was one of the things we tried and I was really impressed. The snacks were so delicious! There were 2 big cheeto like things in the bag and they both were so good! Majority of the candy/snacks were tasty. There was little strawberry gum things and they tasted just like strawberries! One thing I didn't like in there was an orange jello cup thing. It was slimy and I threw it out after one tiny bite. Other than that, if you are looking for a Japanese snack bag, you should definitely try this out!

Most of the snacks were not sweet. One was shrimp flavored, another was sour cream and onion. There was another neither me or my stepson could figure out. As far as the candy most of it was very good but if you get the candy with an orange on the box don't bother, it taste like chalk.

I've had various types of Japanese snacks and candies over the last few years and really enjoy trying something new. If you haven't ever tried them, this pack is a great way to start. While most of it is sweet, you do get a couple savory snacks (the Umaibos, for instance, which are a crispy corn snack with savory flavorings. Basically like a really really big Cheeto-just not usually cheesy). There are even a couple I haven't tried yet and I'm really looking forward to it. Definitely recommend giving this a try!

I bought two bags, one of these, and one of the Children of Fun Packs. They were a lot of fun to go through! Took 25 days to get here, for future reference to anyone else ordering so you can guess on when to expect it. However they didn't come with as many pieces as they said they did. I had 13 total from both bags, when one was supposed to come with 6, and the other was supposed to come with 9. Was short of just 2.

I got these for my son and he’s said it was a great combination of treats. He said there was friend pastries, candy that tasted like Nerds, gummies, etc. He was very impressed. With that said, he has not had treats from Japan before so we have nothing to compare it to.

This Japanese snack surprise pack was a fun little treat to try. It came with a nice variety of sweets, and it was interesting getting to sample different flavors and textures you don’t usually find locally. Everything felt fresh and well-packaged. That said, the portions are on the smaller side, so don’t expect a large quantity. It’s more about the experience and variety than getting a lot of snacks. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re curious about Japanese treats or want something a bit different—just keep in mind it’s a smaller assortment.

8 or more treats in the bag. Very tasty. Some are smaller than others but well worth the buy. Regular sized items so you're getting a full pack of what is in it. Savory and sweet in the pack. A jello treat and gum as well.

Bought it as a Christmas gift. Waited less than a week as I'm always pleased and happy with Amazon's speedy delivery. As it's not for me I cannot comment on the taste but it had better reviews then most of the fishy tasting Asian snack packages. A lot smaller then anticipated when seeing it on the site. Could have been a bit bigger for the cost. Glasses for size comparison. Overall 3 stars. Still don't regret buying it compared to the price of other snack boxes.

J'ai été surprise de la rapidité de livraison. Excellent service, produits super bien emballés, message personnalisé apprécié. C'est une expérience vraiment intéressante de goûter à des friandises et/ou collations venant d'un "autre monde". Bien sûr, si on considère la valeur réelle des aliments, c'est cher. Mais c'est une expérience vraiment exotique. Je crois qu'on devrait tout l'essayer au moins une fois. Pour ma famille et moi, ce fut un beau moment, un "voyage à peu de frais" très agréable.
