These are actually pretty nicely made. They certainly work well, but time will tell. I bought this to replace the lamps I used on the mower. All the old halogen lamps have zamak lamp holders that swell up and crumble due to alloy contamination, so every other time I'd go to use them, they'd be bad. Now it's time to see if these LED lamps survive being crammed directly under the hot radiator and bolted to the frame of a furiously vibrating diesel mower. FWIW, these have a very nicely uniform beam, and seem brighter than the 65W halogens I used to use (though maybe that's just because of the beam uniformity). Considering the only thing I had left at the time were useless 30W halogens, these were a huge step up.

This review is a RARE OCCASION I am not one to ramble on about a product - I normally just comment stuff like - good - happy - as advertized - etc. Just received these lights. I ordered 2 of the 36w 6.5" floods to mount on the side of my service truck for the evening service calls in the middle of nowhere. I do a lot of evening work (especially with the winter months coming) (( dark at 5pm )) The majority of the LED lights offered on Amazon are primarily "spot" lights - If your looking for a WORK light, floods are the ONLY way to go. Floods light up a wider area, they may not reach as far as a spot but these still light up I would say at least 50 foot from my truck. I have tried spots in the past and honestly, because of the "zero'ed in area" they light up... many times it is actually, kind of distracting. (this area is super bright and this area is in shadows) I was planning on mounting 2 on one side of the truck's tool boxes. PLAN HAS CHANGED ! - - one of these, lights up the entire work area. Seem to be very well built (heavy). I am extremely excited about these lights - I have gone through many different styles over the years but these lights blow them all away. I will be ordering another so I can light up both sides of my truck as well as the rear. I am also considering 2 of the 18w 4" floods to mount under the cab steps facing the rear to help light up the area while backing. I can not comment on the longevity / lifespan of these lights but, if it lasts a year - - well worth the $12 - - I'll just buy another to replace it. Maybe it shouldn't be necessary, but I always check the tightness of ANY screw on something I order... so mine were snugged down a hair straight out of the box. Maybe that's why other reviews say they leak? This is something I've always read about "cheap" lightbars. I've heard some say to remove the end caps to make sure the rubber seal is in place, or add some RTV. I removed them, but the seal looked GREAT, so I just tightened it back up. 1 light looked perfect, so I didn't bother opening the 2nd, just snugged its screws down. BEAM PATTERN: TONS of flood... light practically 90deg from direction of lense. Because of this huge flood, they aren't overly bright in any one spot... very even spread, and will light the tops of trees 40-50ft away. Great for seeing up a hill as you approach it on level ground when headlights would just give a blinding spot in front of you and not shine upwards. If I angle them outwards (or cross eyed too), I can see light out my side windows... SERIOUS spread. COLOR: They are pure white, but not TOO blue-ish. Whiter than Sylverstar Ultra headlight bulbs. COVERS: I bought separate orange covers to protect the lenses from rocks/debri/wear. They also tone down the look a little, incase I'm in an area where theft is an issue. Just looks more subtle all around. UPDATE: 2 years later... still going strong! ZERO failures, no water in them, just as good as day one! I did put some lens covers on them. They LOOK orange, but the output is very yellow (perfect for fog). This protects the lenses from road sandblasting, bugs, dirt, mud. I just snap the covers off if they get REALLY dirty or if I want white light. I've NEVER had to scrub the lenses, so they look good as day one!

I installed two 36w 6.5" flood bars on my ATV. These are incredibly bright and work perfectly for illuminating trails in the dark and for general work light applications such as making repairs outdoors at night (I don't have a garage, so I tend to need portable and durable light sorces to get things done when it's dark outside). For these applications these suit my needs perfectly. I anticipate that they will occasionally get wet since my ATV is stored outdoors in a semi-enclosed lean-to with a leaky roof, but probably not as much as they would on an on-road vehicle. They seem to be water resistant enough for the conditions I'll be exposing them to so I'm going to hold off on sealing the lights better with clear silicone sealant as some reviewers have suggested. I will update my review if I notice any issues with condensation in the lenses or burned out bulbs. It's not easy to demonstrate just how bright these lights are in a photo. I would say they are at least 5 times brighter than the stock (halogen) bulbs on my ATV...I would compare them to the LED headlights they're using in automotive applications now. From a distance, the beams cast off from the lights mimick a new BMW or Cadillac (aside from the spacing between them on my small utility ATV). Overall a great product at a great price. I'll be purchasing more in the future for some of my other vehicles.

Not sure about longevity but they're bright as you would want them to be. The video was at 1 am near a burn pile which I cannot see the other side at all with the lights off. Phone kept dimming but I turned the brightness back up so you could see what 2 of these lights do that are facing forward and outward somewhat away from each other.

Overall, I am very happy with these light pods! I have installed 2 of them about a month ago along with 4 of the smaller 18W pods and have used them frequently off road. They are very bright and illuminate the road ahead like the sun. They aren't particularly focused, but that's perfectly fine for our use case. The only thing I will dock them on is the cheap attachment hardware included, particularly the bolts, washers and spring washers. They aren't stainless, so they will rust stupid quick. If you install these pods, consider picking up stainless steel or marine grade fasteners.

スズキ ジムニーjb23に取り付けましたが、広角？のため回りを照らし、正面前方はあまり明るくありません。 遠くまで届かないです。勉強不足だったため、次は挟角にしようかと思います。 耐久性 耐水性については、激甚災害に指定された豪雨のなかで走り回って、全く問題なく照らし続けたのでかなり高いと思います、ちなみにメンテナンスなんか全くしてません。 ステー ボルトナットに若干のサビは出てます。

The beam spread & intensity is just awesome.Beam color is pure white.Only downside is that the nuts provided with the brackets are of cheap quality & have rusted within 2days
