AMAZING
I’m honestly very impressed with this reusable coffee capsule. I saw some mixed reviews before buying it, but I think the key is knowing how to use it correctly. You definitely need a tamper, and you have to make sure the capsule is filled properly and closed all the way. I also recommend using a very fine espresso grind. If the coffee is too coarse, you’re probably not going to get the same results. For me, it works perfectly because I’m only making coffee for myself, usually one or two in the morning. After making the first one, the metal capsule gets very hot, so I just run some cold water over it before opening, cleaning, and refilling it. It takes a little extra work compared to using a disposable pod, but the result is absolutely worth it. The coffee comes out rich, creamy, and really, really good. Once you figure out the right grind, the right amount of coffee, and how to tamp and close it properly, this thing works fantastic. Thank you for making such a great product. I’ll probably end up buying a few more in the future. Highly recommended!

Ejecting is the only thing this does right
I bought this pod and a similar one from another brand name. Both were identical so I'm assuming that they all come from the same place in China. The actual quality is impressive but that is a s far as it goes. Loading the pod is easy, Ieven bought a tamper to help. However the amount of actual liquid coffee that came out was just a dribble. I tried different grinds, different amounts of grounds, still all that came out was about a tablespoon of liquid. the actual stainless steel pod is about the size of the Alto (14 fl. oz) but what comes out is substantially less that the Nespresso Espresso pod (1.35 floz). I was lucky to get half that in many attempts. The machine gets the level from the codes on the rim of the pods. Both of these stainless pods (different venters) use the code for Mug (7.7 fl oz). The only thing I can think that could improve is the sharpness of the code lines. The Nespresso pod code is very distinct (and in black) whereas the stainless had some smudging along the code lines (and was in brown). I used lens cleaner to reduce the smudging and sharpen the lines and it worked a little bit. I was able to get roughly 1.7 fl oz from the stainless pods. With regular pods you can simply push the button and continue filling your cup. With the stainless the machine stopped after the button was pushed. But as the title says, the ejection process was just as good with the stainless as with the pods.

Makes a good single shot of espresso for my Nespresso virtuo machine
This product worked for me. I was hesitant to buy it because of all of the negative reviews, and the note from Amazon that it is frequently returned. For me, this product is working perfectly. I have the exact machine that is in their picture, so I did not have compatibility issues. Also, I understand that this will only give an espresso shots worth of coffee. For people who were complaining that they didn’t get enough coffee, it’s possible that they are trying to make a cup of coffee, instead of a shot of espresso. I like it so much that I’m buying a second one. The only thing I would say that I don’t love about it is that if you’re trying to have more than one shot of espresso, the capsule is very hot right after you make the shot and it’s difficult to use it to make a second shot right away. That is why I’m buying a second one.

Works as it should
This makes coffee pretty good, its not as good as I was hoping for. It can sometimes be hard to open after a few cups of coffee. But as far as I can tell its metal build quality should make it last for years to come. Works great in my nespresso machine.

Kind of works
OK, so it works, but it took a minute to figure it out the only way I can get it to work is to have the back of the Nespresso lifted about half an inch because otherwise when it starts to brew it sends the coffee into the part where the empty pods would go, but if you angle it (by lifting the back of the machine) it will go into your cup and then it works great. It was a little tricky trying to figure out how to make it work, but once we kept it angled, I’ve been able to brew coffee for days and it worked great. I think they could work on the design element a little bit more so that that’s not an issue but I’m OK with it because I’m saving a lot of money compared to the actual Nespresso pods.

Buy it, it works
Ok. I'm glad I ordered this product despite the number of negative reviews. I believe that everyone that gave a low rating is not following the instructions and did not pay attention to the description. First of all, this is the SMALL coffee capsule. You must grind the coffee to a very fine grind and ensure you pack and press the coffee grounds well into the capsule. Also, ensure that the capsule is sealed completely. I put it into my Vertuo Plus machine, I pressed the button once, and guess what? It worked! My advice is that if you feel the coffee is too light, then run it a second time. That is what I did, and it yielded more coffee. It was flavorful, and it had the crema as well. The capsule is of good quality. Beware that it will be very hot after the brewing process. This company sells the larger capsule. I might order that one as well.

Completely disappointed
I was very excited and looking forward to receiving the stainless steel capsule; however, that enthusiasm vanished the moment I brewed my first cup of coffee. It is simply not true that using this stainless steel capsule offers health benefits—or at least, the impact of reusing it isn't entirely clear—and the flavor doesn't even come close to that of a standard Nespresso capsule. I do not recommend buying this product at all. The coffee used is of very high quality—Borbone Red. It was a major challenge to fit 9g of very finely ground coffee into this capsule; if you enjoy a good, creamy coffee with an intense flavor, this product does not deliver the experience of a fine espresso.

Eco-Friendly, Money-Saving Alternative to Single-Use Pods
Pros: -Reusable stainless steel design cuts down on waste -Saves money over time compared to disposable pods -Lets you use any ground coffee you like -Builds nice crema when packed and brewed correctly -Easy to clean with a quick rinse -Durable and well-made, doesn’t feel flimsy -Great option for sustainability-minded coffee drinkers Cons: -Takes a few tries to get the grind and pack just right -Extraction isn’t always as strong as original Nespresso pods -Can drip slightly after brewing -Not compatible with all Nespresso models—must check fit Overall: Stainless Steel Reusable Coffee Capsule is a solid investment if you want to save money and reduce waste without giving up your espresso routine. Once you dial in your grind and fill method, it makes a great cup and feels much more sustainable than single-use pods.
