The Definitive Guide to Supply Management and Procurement: Principles and Strategies for Establishing Efficient, Effective, and Sustainable Supply Management Operations

I recently purchased this book and in summary, it leaves something to be desired. The information is rather rudimentary if you have any amount of experience in this field so there is no real new information to be had. What surprises me most is the excessive amount of typographical errors throughout the book, literally dozens. In addition, there are many instances were a Figure illustration is not pared with the caption or the topic at hand. There is a fair amount redundancy that indicates the author cut and pasted in many instances throughout the book. It is quite appalling that for the price paid, the number of errors and misprints is overwhelming and is nowhere near worth the price paid. It is evident that this book (and probably others in the series) was hastily put together without much proofreading or intelligent thought. I would not recommend this book at all. Overall, I am very disappointed that a distinguished body of education such as CSCMP would allow such nonsense to be published under their name.
