Speak Easies Cell Desk Kit

Description

This kit is a small version of our Cells Board Kit. Each kit contains two 7 1/2" by 12" solid magnetic sheets printed with colorful images for students to cut out and assemble on a markerboard or on a tabletop. Images shown include plant and animal and bacterial cells, organelles and viruses. The worksheet (included) guides students through assembling, sketching, and answering questions about cells. The kit is packaged in a heavy duty vinyl envelope suitable for storing the pieces between uses. The pieces may be written on with dry-erase markers and are fully erasable. Also included: a key to the organelles and an answer key. Students can use to compare plant and animal cells, eukaryotic cells and prokaryotic cells. May be used to enact an overview of protein synthesis, modification and transport.
