Review: Great bands and are nicely separated in the differences. - After initially getting the SKLZ red band which is really good but I little lighter than I want at times I looked for more from them. As usual with search engines even though I initially typed in SKLZ exercise bands desertcart gave me in the results right at the beginning other brands. I saw a complete set from another brand ROSAPOAR. The over quality of those is ok. However, the 2 heaviest bands in that set needed an in between. The purple was a little easiest than the SLKZ medium red and the Green was way too hard for me. So I came back to desertcart and did another search for SKLZ bands and had to look a little better but did indeed find them. I ordered the lighter yellow to have on hand for my younger daughter and the darker heavier black band. So now I have the lite, medium, and heavy in the SKLZ and they're all dialed in better to me. I get in a lighter still decent resistance workout with the red- medium band and an excellent harder one with the SKLZ Black band. With the bands from ROSAPOAR they are still good but just aren't dialed in as well for me. They should have a band dialed in somewhere between the purple and the green. So for now with the SKLZ bands I am all set. If I get the ability to go heavier at some point, I can always use the ROSAPOAR Green band that I have in that set, but that's not now. Review: Durable and strong - It’s great. I’m an independent personal trainer and a weightlifting athlete; always training and practicing shoulder and hip mobility and flexibility. I’ve stretched this band to it’s max, I’ve be able to get into every position I need to without hesitation or complaints about band integrity. ## Features - A portable and proven way to build upper and lower body strength - Provides resistance to help increase lateral speed and forward acceleration - Perfect for adding tension to common exercises or assisting pull-ups and dips - Available in four weights for varying degrees of dynamic tensions - Built to withstand your most intense workouts and routines ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00MPGLWUE | | Additional Features | Adjustable | | Best Sellers Rank | #72,406 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #626 in Resistance Bands | | Brand | SKLZ | | Brand Name | SKLZ | | Color | Yellow | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 248 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00849102016782 | | Included Components | SKLZ Pro band | | Item Dimensions L x W | 1.02"L x 10.94"W | | Item Type Name | SKLZ Pro Band Light | | Item Weight | 1.44 ounces | | Manufacturer | Pro Performance Sports | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1678 | | Material | Natural Rubber | | Material Type | Natural Rubber | | Model Name | SKLZ Pro Band | | Model Number | 1678 | | Number of Resistance Levels | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Workout | | Sport | Athletic Training | | Sport Type | Athletic Training | | Style Name | 40-Inch/Light | | Tension Supported | Light | | UPC | 849102016782 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 Year Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SKLZ - **Color:** Yellow - **Item Weight:** 1.44 ounces - **Material:** Natural Rubber - **Sport:** Athletic Training ## Images ![SKLZ Professional Grade Strength Training Resistance Band (40-Inch) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41wHOg0y2eL.jpg) ![SKLZ Professional Grade Strength Training Resistance Band (40-Inch) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PvqFAq2-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are these bands worth it versus a cheaper brand such as upowex?** A: Yes, the quality and durability are very high. **Q: which resistance band would be good for bench press resistance for a heavy lifter? will the strongest one be too much?** A: It would really depend on how you are using the band and what you strength level is. If you are pressing over 315 lbs with no resistance I think you could be well suited with the extra heavy. Anything less, you would likely do better with the heavy. **Q: How many resistance bands are in the package?** A: This are sold as single units. **Q: Would this be the right size for adding resistance to push ups? I see different bands come in different lengths.** A: This band is heavy resistance and will make a push up very challenging. We would recommend the light or medium resistance band. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bands and are nicely separated in the differences. *by S***I on September 24, 2026* After initially getting the SKLZ red band which is really good but I little lighter than I want at times I looked for more from them. It provides enough resistance to do things like side steps, good mornings, face pulls etc but is light enough to use as a stretching aid as well. Nice and grippy, easy to get a hold of. ## Frequently Bought Together - SKLZ Professional Grade Strength Training Resistance Band (40-Inch) - SKLZ SLKZ Mini Resistance Bands, Set of 3,Yellow - SKLZ Elite Mini Resistance Band --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14233219-sklz-professional-grade-strength-training-resistance-band-40-inch](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14233219-sklz-professional-grade-strength-training-resistance-band-40-inch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
