Reynolds Metals 00504 Slow Cooker Liners 13 IN X 21 IN, 20 LINERS

Before we purchased these, we dreaded using our slow cooker due to the clean up. Now we simply insert one of these bags in the slow cooker and clean up is a breeze. Simply remove and throw out the bag. We do find that some food does tend to get caught in the overlap folds of the bag (due to the bag being a slightly bigger size than our cooker), but that is a relatively minor issue and is more of a minor annoyance as we try to empty out the pan.Reason for 4 stars vs 5: Paying almost a dollar for a thin (heat resistant) plastic bag feels expensively priced. Also, the packaging is very bulky. We purchased a 48 pack which shipped as 4 per box (12 boxes) -- and each box is oversized for its content. This takes up a large portion of our pantry, but feels like it could have shipped in less than half as many boxes (or half as much space) if each box wasn't oversized and mostly empty space.

For two weeks straight I made our evening meals in the crockpot. We were visiting our daughter and I volunteered to make meals since everyone else was working long hours on a construction project. Using the crockpot was perfect because there was never an exact time when the work would be done for the day and it was extremely hot. After a couple days of scrubbing the crockpot I got smart and ordered these. They were a big help. Negative was that we had to be careful not to cut into the bag when dishing out the food and, leaving the crockpot on too long would make the bag weaker. But even when it did leak a little it was still a much easier to clean the crockpot. Plus, we learned to be a little more gentle scooping and that was the end of cutting into the bags. With the more solid foods we could even just lift the bag and put it in the refrigerator to be heated up another day. Saved time and me cleaning a yucky mess every night!

God bless these liners. Sometimes I worry that heating up plastic for prolonged periods can't possibly be healthy, but seriously, for a busy young family, this is a must have. My husband and I both work outside the home and our little one still has a super early bedtime, so we've got to get dinner on the table as soon as we get home (yay, crock pot) and by the time we've got the baby to sleep we're too exhausted to scrub out a messy crock pot. For a while, we kept forgetting to actually put the liners in the crock pot before putting the ingredients in - oops. So now, we just store the liners inside the crockpot in the cabinet - that way when we pull it out, the liners are sitting right there and it's a lot harder to forget to use them ;)

THESE LINERS AE THE WAY TO AVOID WORK -- WHICH I NEVER SEEM TO BE IN SHORT SUPPLY AND SO REALLY APPRECIATE GREAT TIME-SAVERS. THESE ARE ESPECIALLY NICE WHEN THE INTERIOR SURFACE OF YOUR COOKING "POT" IS WORN AND YOU CANNOT FIND A REPLACEMENT. THESE LINERS MAKE USING AN OLD POT WITHOUT THE ELBOW GREASE NEEDED FOR THE CLEANUP A SNAP. A GREAT INVESTMENT AND KITCHEN AID. ALSO THE LINERS KEEP ALL OF THE FLAVORS IN THE FOOD BECAUSE THEY SERVE TO PREVENT THE FLAVORS AND JUICES FROM DISAPPATING THROUGH THE COOKING SURFACE -- MIGHT BE MY IMAGINATION BUT I THINK THE COOKED RESULTS ARE TASTIER.

Love these bags! They fit perfectly in crock pot, easy clean up, never any leaks, very sturdy. I love this product! I’ve given them to friends and family who complain they can’t find a good bag. I always buy in bulk!

I use my slow cooker more now that I found these. What an easy cleanup it is now! I got a new slow cooker for Christmas and used one of these and because I left the edges of the liner on the outside, it discolored the metallic color of the cooker so now I tuck it inside so that can't happen again. However, on my regular Crock Pot slow cooker this did not happen. It also wasn't metallic so that may have something to do with it. Anyway, they work great!

I cook in my slow cooker all the time. Best way to have dinner on the table on busy/full days. These liners allow easy cleanup, mess free - dump the liquid, toss into the trash, wipe the slowcooker down and store. We cook chili, soups, you name it, never an issue. I recently did applebutter in the slow cooker - cooked the apples/seasonings for 2 days. Cleanup was so easy!

I love these things. Some have complained that there is moisture under the plastic and so they still need to wash the crock. I find this to be true and so I do feel the need to swish around a little hot soapy water after I use my crock. The beauty in the liners is that I never have to scrub the crock or put it in the dish washer. And Wahooo! Amazon’s price is so much more reasonable than what I can buy locally.

I found the slow cooker liners at a Walmart store. The first time I used the liner I was completely satisfied, you just discard the liner once you have scrapped out the food and don’t need the hassle of scrubbing the slow cooker pan. Just give it a quick rinse if needed. I now use the Reynolds liners every time I use the slow cooker. I highly recommended this product
