Beautiful design and finish
My previous InSinkErator broke and I’m thrilled with this new one. In years past, there wasn’t so many choices of finishes. I got the brushed bronze to match my other kitchen fixtures. It almost matches, and is beautiful! Apparently, it can’t be a perfect match unless all the fixtures come together, according to my plumber. But it matches enough to be a fine addition, much better than my previous one that was white with a modern design. This time I had the option of a more antique look, fitting in with my kitchen, which is sort of country French.

Perfect for instant filtered hot water for iced or hot tea and filtered cold drinking water
I replaced my 11 year old still working Insinkerator because of the filtration change and difficulty and expense to find the old model. It works well to heat the water but the pressure seems higher with this model than the plain standard one I had. I’m wondering if it’s the size of the filter. The hot water spews everywhere and could be dangerous

cold water valve drips continuously
It is beautiful, matches my nickel polished faucet. The cold water dispenser drips water after turning it off. I think the shut off spring is not strong enough. I have in for 2 months.Update from last review 2/29/2020I have the product for 4 months now, the leak from the cold water valve is getting worse to a continuous drip, it is just not acceptable. Very poor quality control. It is much more expensive than a regular hot water dispenser. I will definitely not recommend it.

Great for Hot & Cold, But G-D forbid if you need service
Works as expected. One unexpected con: The instant Hot continues for longer than I expected. Because the manufacturers want the pipe to fill up completely with fresh hot water, rather than start with cool water already in the pipe, it also continues expelling hot water after the lever is released. My old unit continued for about 2 seconds. This one continues for about 5 seconds. I can live with that.July 2009, four years after purchase. The unit failed. But it has a five year warranty so I thought I was safe. Call the manufacturer and effect a repair. However, it appears that having a receipt is not enough. They require the model number and serial number. Model number is easy. But serial number requires removing the dispenser to get to its underside to read the number, and then reinstalling it. What a pain! Enough to drop my rating to 2 stars.

Functional AND Beautiful AND Saves Me Money
This replaced our (really) old insinkerator 'hot only' dispenser. It is a really good match for our faucet set (Hanover line in the Price Pfister kitchen faucets). We are delighted. Use both the hot and cold features all the time. I like how the cold can stay on-- you don't actually have to hold the lever down, so this frees your hands to deal with the pitcher or bottle, etc. Of course, the hot must be held down, but that is a safety feature... the hot is REALLY hot. This product gets our day started off right with mess-free tea & coffee preparation and no waiting for the kettle. I quick-dilute and heat lots of things, quick-clean utensils and pans, so I don't need to use or wait for the dishwasher. I heat the ice cream scoop, etc.But now I have filtered drinking water by the sink, as well. It tastes good! I buy less bottled water. With this feature alone, this product has paid for itself already!

Sprays hot water over 8" circle
Installation instructions a bit vague but adequate. Nozzle delivers a spray of hot water instead of a calm flow. Finding a replacement nozzle an exercise in futility (so far). Such a pain to install, returning full unit for a refund not worth the labor involved.

Works
So expensive and the water pressure... well there really isn't any. It drops out. So frustrating for so much money

Wouldn't have a kitchen without one
When I was in my late twenties I bought a house that had one of these in the kitchen. I had never seen one before. Well, after a month with it, I was hooked and have installed them (yes, myself) in every house I've lived in since. I bought this water dispenser for a bar sink off the master bedroom. I drink a lot of herb tea and flavored coffee mixes. I have one in the kitchen and wouldn't have a kitchen without one. Anytime a recipe calls for boiling water I just fill up my measuring cup and I'm done---no heating on the stove top or microwaving. If you are a tea tottler, you must own one of these.
